Most people from what I've seen say that when you fight him on Mt. Gagazet that's where he's the toughest but I didn't think so since I mainly went through my usual cast buffs and strong spells and finally a blast of a overdrive aeon.

Bah, on cast of Bio and he screws himself. The Sin battle is the worst because of his elemental status changes.

I domniated him in that battle as well mainly since the ultimate weapons that I had were fully powered and and had Double Cast on both Lulu and Yuna, so it was over in a few turns.

I used my Aeons and overdrives. He died rather quickly but, my first play through he killed me quite alot before I managed to beat him.

Mainly just when he shifts elements is where most under leveled characters have a tough time dealing with, besides the usual shift here and there he really didn't get to do anything. By then I was really over leveled since I don't like to show bosses any mercy.

In any event he couldn't begin to compare with Jecht. That battle was monstrous.

Yeah even most of my characters could break the damage limit it still took quite a few turns to take him down, I always made sure to cast Ultima whenever those pods came back to life.

That irritated me. The thing that got me the most though was his damned Overdrive.

Me too until I figured out a trick. Use an aeon when his overdrive is almost in use and he'll kill the aeon and your party will be safe.

That's why I made sure to have Tidus in the party and made him talk to Jecht whenever the overdrive gauge got more than halfway, it helped lower it somewhat.

I never had trouble with the Jecht battle. Strangely enough, I always found it easier than any of the seymour fights. Even the overdrive didn't do much damage, never once knocked out any of my characters unless they were on minimal health.

That's why I made sure to have Tidus in the party and made him talk to Jecht whenever the overdrive gauge got more than halfway, it helped lower it somewhat.

I used Titus because he was my Haste master. XD I find it ironic that he has such a hyper personality and one of the first attacks he gets is Haste. XDXD

Hastega was always one of the first spells would cast during those final stages even though it does show who will go next and so on it always looks funny to see the character moving like they're hyper.
