Meh, kinda boring opening. Its just scenes of the game. I'm sure that it's just the pre-opening movie, you know, before you reach the menu to choose New Game or Continue.

I love the piano-version of the CC song.

Reno and Rude look exactly the same in this video as they did in AC. Sephiroth is cool too, he's a hero.

He is actually, isnt he? It's clear that Genesis is kinda the person that made Sephiroth the evil that he is today.

I kinda understand Genesis' part in the story now. Though I wondr what his connection with Jenova is. He has her cells, but there must be more than that.

I'm guessing it was Jenova, Genesis, Sephiroth and Angeal who were supposed to take part in the real reunion. Not just Sephiroth and the clones. The other 3 are Jenova's sons while Cloud, Vincent, RedXIII, etc are just people with Jenova cells.

Red has Jenova cells? I tend to have forgotten. And who are included in "etc"?

So ahem....when Seph was conceived by Lucrecia and Hojo, Hojo scrapped any DNA of his own or Lucrecia's and replaced it with Jenova cells...or something. Which is why Seph resembles neither Hojo nor Lucrecia but Jenova instead.

Well he clearly has his mothers genes, look at the hair. In anime, manga = primary feature.

By etc, I mean, those numbered clones in black capes, found in Nibelheim during ff7 timeline. Yeah, Sephy does look alot like Jenova. But I think he does have Lucrecia's face.
