After realising that i can't be arsed to pay money for new games i decided to crack out FFX again to last me through the eventual bore that is the summer hols...

Got to the Calm Lands, realised that my Blitzball team is crap (much like the mini game in itself, but you need it for Wakka's Ultimate Weapon and Attack Reels), considering the only extra player i've bought since Luca is Brother on the airship...

So erm yeah any advice about where to go/who to buy/how to train to make the Aurochs a decent team??

well just play some games and lvl up tidus and after a while you can own everybody , even with the standard team

my tidus can score from my own goal XD just use sphere shot and jecht shot to your advantage ^^ if you are at the goal and have 2 people stopping you .. use jecht shot

Jecht Shot is teh pwnage.

It stuns two opposing players and shoots with a high success for a goal. use it when near the goal.

For me, I have Tidus LF, Wakka RF, Blappa (on the airship) C, Brother LD, Lakkam (on the airship) RD and Nimrook (on the airship) in goal. You pretty much should just play league games and tournament games until the Psyches lose their good players (the ones listed above) and then just grab them.

Jecht Shot 2 is better. :D

Takes out three guys before Tidus shoots.

I'd get rid of everyone on your orginal team, including Wakka. Personally I tried to make a team with them in past games and they just end up being awful. Some of the characters I used were:

-Calm Lands' shop keeper (the Al Bhed woman)
-Brother (a must have player)
-Rin
-the woman in the north end of the Calm Lands (she looks just like the choco breeder but it isn't her)
-Murphey (the Thunder Plains shop keeper)

Those are the only ones I can remember off the top of my head right now but I know those few level up very well and can really help your team win plenty of games. Good luck!

Luca players are really good. If you can get any of them, do so!

For speed, go for Al Bhed. Ditto for Guado.

There's a strong Ronso in Luca. High HP and END, but medium attack. Tidus and Blappa are fast. The Ronso is C, Tidus LF, Blappa RF, my other people suck. My goalie is a guado from a shop in Guadosalm.

With Blappa and Tidus shooting so much, I manage to win

Guado are too frail for my taste. I tend to stick with Humans and Ronso.

holy shit im a tank at blitz ...it took me about 2 years ( off an on ) ...but all of my players are at level 99 - i still have the original team ( tidus, wakka - i bought him, botta, datto, jassu, and dont use letty but i could easily kick ass with him 2 cuz there all at 99 )

and also i have the ject shot 2 and every player has all 3 key techniques and five tech. slots ...holy shit though it took me so long
