Have any of you ever even heard of these games by square enix?
If so have you played them and what do you think?

I think Musashi is a cool game and it's also funny^^I have both of them ^^

i only have that samurai legend one..not the fencer :/

the legend, it's pretty good--but the voice acting is wayyyy too weird

how's the other game?

Brave Fencer Musashi is one of the most underrated Squaresoft titles. It hasn't aged all that well, but it was a damned fine title back in '98. The gameplay was good, but what really made the game so enjoyable was it's charm and sense of humor.

Brave Fencer Musashi was my first Squaresoft game and definitely one of the more underrated titles. It had a sense of humor, good storyline, great gameplay, and tons of voice acting. Though overshadowed, it was still very enjoyable.

[spoiler]YES the final confrontation (not boss fight) Was totally not a rip off of the ff7 final confrontation) (Cloud VS sephiroth alone after beating safer sephiroth)[/spoiler]

Musashi Samurai Legend is a work of art imo. One of Square's finest and I hope Musashi returns during this next gen.

Loved Brave Fencer Musashi, and I also thought it was one of the lesser appreciated titles for the PSX/PsOne back in the days and easily overlooked. Kind of like me and my fondness for Saga Frontier 2. As for Musashi Samurai Legend, I heard extremely bad things about it and decided not to get it nor play it because it might tarnish my precious memories of the first one. Would love to see a PSP port or some sort though in the future
