FF7: CC PSP Complete, US Version in Beta

The game has been completed and is ready for release in JP this fall. The US version is in beta, and barring difficulties will be released Spring 08.

great!!! im really looking forward to this game because i haven't really grasped the WHOLE story of the VII so it's great news that this game is coming to the US

I just want my darned FF7 remake. xD I was trying to replay FF7 to catch up on story and just couldnt. <_<; The localization is too bad.

Well, not a remake per se, but a PORT for PSP would be excellent. BTW, awesome news! But it'll be past Christmas...T^T

Cool, I've been waiting for like forever for this game. Barring difficulties will be released Spring 08? Is that for the US version?

Yeah, I played some of it last year, and it is just so boring. Without VA's, good gfx and better battle system it will never express its story because nobody today would want to play it. I really think a FF7 remake would work on a PSP (similar to what Sophia Esteed said). I mean its portable and modernized, plus better explanation of the story so that people dont get lost----meaning less haters.

How I see the ideal FF7 remake:
- Voices: optional, just use the Advent Children voices I guess
- Graphics: hmm, PSP caliber methinks.
- Battle System: The Materia system *could* use a few tweaks, and the battle system could be a bit mroe engaging like it will be with CC.
- Translation: Hohoho, MAJOR improvement needed. "This guy ARE sick" -- need I say more?

I'm only saying IF people. xD But nevertheless, Crisis Core is gonna kick. Some. Arse. er, no -- MAJOR arse.

I agree with you! Ive been praying for one ever since the PS2 came out....I just think the story is the best one in the FF series.

Im glad they at least have the Compilation of FFVII. It keeps me happy for now...
