I need help defeating Jecht when he turns into that beast. He always kills me in the second form...any help?

Well first things first, you probably talk to him with everyone. Keep your three main people in (mine was Tidus, Yuna, Auron). Make sure you have everyone's (including aeons) last overdrive. Once you take him down the first time bust out all the overdrives. Make sure you have a butload of HP also with everybody
except Khimari he sucks...

You die probably because of the sword thing right? He does that like every three turns. Switch out your chars (except Khimari) and keep attacking. Always be on the offensive. Make sure you have Yuna and Rikku, with the right mixes, heal everybody. And Lastly Auron, use Armor and Power break often way often because it wears of quick.

Ok well..when you start the battle be sure to have all your aeons and characters in overdrive. Perfect party : Tidus, Yuna and Auron. Equip a weapon with sensor ability to a character, I equipped Brotherhood to Tidus then be sure that Yuna knows the most powerful black magic spells like Flare and Ultima..Ultima is a must have! if your characters are in a low level or in a medium level and your HP is like no more than 5000 then be sure to have something that is called Stamina Tonic and it doubles the whole party HP.

Note: you can get it in the temple where you fight Belgemine and her Aeons....oh yeah! don't forget to have some 'Three Stars' items, this ones will help to reduce all the party's MP cost to zero so you're going to be a spellcasting machine XD and you're not going to need to be using ethers all the time.

For your item stock..have some x-potions..you can get lot of them at Belgemine's Temple ^^ also have some elixirs or Megaelixirs. Oh yeah another thing..be sure to have some Softs and Holy water because you'll fall in zombie status many times and if you heal your characters..they're dead XD

Battle Starts! Use the command and talk to Jecht one time, then before it attacks use Ultima and then attack him...then I would suggest that you leave the healing work to Tidus and the offensive to Yuna and Auron..so whenever your charactres get hit then use Tidus and heal them..only with X-potions you'll need those elixirs and megalixirs later..oh yeah please! Make Tidus learn the 'Use' command it's necessary so that you don't swtich party members, then use the stamina tonic and the three stars item too^^ now you're ready so keep using Ultima and attacking whenever possible, when the haste effect is off then cast it again.

Note(when your characters are in the zombie or stone status the haste effect fades)

Ok so save your Aeons for the second form, I would suggest that you use them when he's about to unleash his Limit Break...it's a good trick so that your characters don't die XD if your Aeon survived the attack then tell him to leave because you don't want to los him and you'd like to unleash more limit breaks later ;) ok so as I said use your Aeon when Jecht is going to used his Limit Break and when he's not then just use Ultima and attack him..if possible use Break abilities specially Mental Break so that your magic does more damage on him^^...so after you've beaten it..that's it you're done..gladly there's not a third form XD hope that helps

All I did was lvl tidus up a bunch and go in with max over drive on everyone, with the entrust ability and use it to pump tidus up 3 times for the attack^^

NOTE: I HIGHLY recommend you have Tidus' Final Weapon *Caladbolg* it will do you a GREAT deal of help if you have it since it has Break Damage Limit and Triple Overdrive

I hope you aquired Anima. If you did, use her overdrive on Jecht's second form. Hastega is also useful. Just know that if you did get Anima, you will have to fight her afterwards. I was overlevelled when I did this fight because I did the side missions as well.

My sister uses Rikku's overdrive and mixes certain items, and the whole party attacks with 9999 damage per hit.

Party Setup:
Auron: All Overdrives*set to warrior*
Yuna: whatever XD *set to healer*
Tidus:All Overdrives *Set to warrior*

Make sure all three of them know Entrust, cuz your main attacker is gonna be tidus XD, Why!? cuz his last over drive does about 14-16 hits now calculate that with the break damage limit from the Final Weapon of the Caladbolg... hehe XD your talking over 50,000-1,499,000 points of dmg XD

First off Tidus needs to have his Caladbolg at maximum leverage *all abilities on it* then once you do that get him to master al least 50%-75% of the sphere grid, that should put your abilities to do over 9999 dmg^^ once you do that your all set....When you enter the battle remember to have your entire party on max overdrive, as soon as you start jump to Tidus using Blitz Ace overdrive, once thats finished, on your next character do entrust and target tidus, and do what ever you wish with the other one, when it comes to tidus' next turn use Blitz Ace again, and then use the last person to entrust their overdrive to tidus^^ and Blitz Ace again^^...... gosh this is a pretty cheap way of winning.... but its cool XD

go and kick Jeckts 1st, 2nd, and Yu Yevon a$$es without having to worry about a BUNCH of strategy^^

Jecht 1: HP~ 65,000
Jeckt 2: HP~120,000
Yu Yevon= 99,999 HP

Difficulty with my strategy: 1/5 =P its a cake walk if you do it^^

srsly the best way is:

Over-level.

Their are tons of easy guides for maxing out sphere levels. Having the legendary weapons of the 3 main fighters also helps.

as for the guides, you can many of 'em easily. just search at google.

before this fight i try to get everything and i m really overpowered killing the first jecht form in 1 hit and the second one with a multi hit overdrive or 2 attacks and you lvl up pretty easy and fast even in sin although i think the best is omega s dungeon or the really easy monster arena trick

Omega Dungeon is pretty good, but if you want to grow tons of levels fast use the ap tricks in the arena.
