Final Fantasy VII:Advent Children

Thought I'd make a thread to discuss all our Advent Children theories, and see what other one's people have and stuff..

Well for a discussion started I thought what nothing better than the cloaked figure with it's left arm missing..



That's the most open shot I could capture of it.. The three people I think with the most chances are Rufus, Hojo and Aerith (although highly unlikely.)

Reasons behind those 3:

It is either a pink dress, and its not showing well because of the light, or it is a white collar. The only people to wear white in the game were Rufus and Hojo. Rufus' collar was a high one, and scientists coats have white collars. Rufus may not have been killed in VII because we never actually see him die.
It could be Aerith just because on the pure fact it's Aerith - we have seen shot's of her in Advent Children before, but only as a memory/flashback. If you look closely, is it just my imagination or you can you see longish dark hair? But why would she lose her arm? Whereas Rufus could have lost his arm in the whats-its-face explosion again. (Junon is it? Blah.)

Another one I thought up whilst typing this is Dean, because he had a left gun arm, and the cloaked figure has no left arm. We don't actually see Dean die either.

Anyway.. thats what I think.. x_x;;

It's definetly not Aerith, since we hear his voice in trailers, and it's a male voice...

My theory is that Vincent and Kadaj are linked. They are both captured next to each other from a scene, check my topic.

Yeah, it IS a male voice. And in the 4-minute trailer, there's definitely a shot of a white, collared shirt.

Also, I don't think it's Dyne. He... fell off a cliff. It's pretty... hard to survive, falling off a cliff.

And anyway, Kadaj talks civilly to the WCP, and...

Actually, I'm not sure why Sephiroth would let Kadaj talk civilly to either Hojo or Rufus.

I'd've thought Sephiroth would've had him killed.

Or maybe they don't know.

But they should, 'cause... Seph wouldn't be all: Okay! Stranger! Yay! *Listens*

Unless Kadaj, Yazoo, and Loz aren't following Sephiroth's orders, which they should be, because Kadaj calls Jenova "Mother". And Sephiroth is definitely the oldest brother... and I swear I hear Yazoo saying "Nii-san".

Hahaha, okay. Well, it's Sephiroth actually.

Why? In the 25 minute trailer, Kadaj and the WCP are on the top of a building. They talk, and Kadaj summons Bahamut. I think you all seen that in the 4 minute trailer.

Anyways, Cloud uses his Limit to reach to Bahamut, but he falls down. Luckily, he can get grip on the building walls to not fall down. Cloud looks up, and a huge pile of rock falls down, from the building Kadaj and WCP were standing on.

(Kadaj left on his motorcycle, btw!)

Now here comes the proof.

That's Sephiroth falling down! And he's attacking Cloud. Now this means that Sephiroth was standing on the building. And the only person standing on the building was WCP!!

Wait. How come he's wearing a collared shirt, then?

Have any of you seen Japanese InuYasha? Because if you have, and you've heard Naraku... does he sound like WCP? 'Cause Toshiyuki Morikawa's doing Seph's voice and he did Naraku's.

Also, Sephiroth could totally teleport...

And... and...

RIGHT. Why the HELL would Sephiroth sit in a wheelchair?

Maybe he's faking it? Or because he was hurt by Cloud, he has to regain his health?

Also, if he was hurt by Cloud... why would he charge at him?

And Vincent clearly says: "She can revive him if she wants to", which means...

But wait. Why're Reno and Rude all: Okay, WCP, we're gonna work for you!

And... still, why would Sephiroth don a white, collared shirt?

And he talks about Sephiroth in the third person. He says: Ware ware Sephiroth something... something...

For charging him; he can fake it. He can win trust with it, right?

And Kadaj bows for him, calling him his leader, kissing his hand. I think there's only one person he wants to give that to.

And maybe Kadaj needs the children for life force? With that life force, he can get back Jenova, so she could give Sephiroth his health back?

I heard about Sephiroth possibly being the WCP a while ago. Well, now we know that Sephy has a bigger than just that flash back (yay!). But like New2Ya, I'm interested in knowing why Vincent and Kadaj are put side by side (if any wants the link to download the proper trailer that New2Ya go the pictures from, let me know).

But, what exactly is the story of Advent Children? I heard bits and pieces, but does any know the proper plot outline or something?

Aaanyways, the story:

2 years after the events of FFVII. Cloud has started his own company with Tifa, to help people who are in danger.

A disease, Geostigma, has spread throughout the planet, and the children are always the first to suffer.

Then 3 men, Kadaj, Loz and Yazoo claim to be able to help these children. So they kidnap them. Why they do this? Unknown, but I think it has something to do with Jenova, "their Mother".

Cloud is still in pain of Aerith's death, and he thinks he needs to be forgiven for his actions. He couldn't stop Aerith from dying, he feels evil...

1,5 days, hahaha. so not long...once i came online, i checked squarenet, but nothing. than ffworld, but nothing. 1 minute later i doublechecked, and ffworld gave a link to the official site. so i checked, and i captured the screens for you guys, haha.
