DoC Worth Rent?

^_^ Theres a lot of DoC bashers, mainly because either they are FF7 haters, or because they went in it expecting too much. I hear it's really a pretty good game with a good story if you dont go in it expecting a masterpiece.

Is it worth a rent? (I have unlimited rentals with gameznflix btw, so not loosin anything)

Definately.

Worth a play, at the least. So yeah, rent it. I rented it and while I'm not fan of FFVII, I did have fun.

Plus, it's always nice to hear Steve Blum's voice.

If you can rent for free then do it.. Though you may waste your time playing it.

Yes it is. Just for one play, to get the storyline in for FFVII which wasn't that good. But its always good to play all the FF's in my opinion.

Well, I still have nightmares over the horrendous game called FFX-2. So sad I had to play that. But I just needed to find out what happened afterwards.

Not gonna do that with this game... FFVII is a great game, but fine as it is. FF7AC was a nice completion IMO, and CCFF7 is definetly worth playing, because it just really looks to be a great game.

The only thing I wanted to know about DOC is the music, which rocks! I mean, the guy behind pretty much all great songs of FFX, doing the music in DOC? WIN WIN WIN!! (He's doing FF13 too)

Yeah, that's the reason. I'd say you should go ahead, rent it. It's definitely worth the play. Dont worry about the complaints that come from certain "people". They just pretend to hate FF7 because they want to rant on to everyone that they hate it, just to tick fans off (like my 4 year old cousin does). So dont take hard critism on FF7 too seriously because it's just for attention.

Yeah, I actually liked this game, aside from the bashers, I think people were expecting the next big thing, it was amazing, but It's worth a rent and fun for a weekend.

its only good to rent not to buy cause i mean its fun cause of all the gun shooting
and form actions but the story wasn't the greatest story in ff history

Yea this may be do new you.. Some people play and watch movies/anime etc before they give there final review..

I'm not going to say a game 100% sucks or a movie if I haven't played it or seen it. I may say what I think of it and how it looks before it comes out. But I won't say it's a bad game untill I played it. I have high hopes for FFVII:CC.

I get to play as the true hero of FFVII, Zack. So when it comes out I'm not going to say''IT SUCKS.'' If never even played the damn thing((unless a get PSP again, I may not get to play it)). Thats why I never given my review of FF:BC. ((though you will get that when I go to Japan, because I plan to buy it)).

I thought FFVII:DoC was going to be good. A Shooter with Vincent. I was wrong. Gameplay sucked etc. Sorry so far, DoC sucked, FFVII AC sucked, LO was so so and I heard FFVII:BC mixed things about FFVII:BC..

I'm sorry, but I'm not some people here''Halo sucks, Gears suck, Blue Dragon sucks or Lost Planet sucks.'' When they never even play that game. I'm not like that, sorry.

HA!! You're one to talk. May I remind you about how you screamed "Crisis Core is going to suck!" in everyones face till they couldnt hear hope (even though you didnt play it)? Or how about how many people asked you "Oh, SuperEclipse, so now you can see the future" and when you say "Nomura is making the game, it will suck, bla bla bla- emos -bla bla bla- scared of the dark -bla bla bla black clothes..." Definitely, your only intention of playing FFVII games is to tick fans off, unless you really love the compilation. So dont give me that "I play before dissing" because most people here who know you will say that is a load of crud.

Wrong. Gameplay was the best FF gameplay. A tense, action style.

Maybe, this I havent played. I have high hopes for the PSP verison though. BC is supposed to have really important things about the FF7 story.

Well, if you watch all the cutscenes and play on hard then maybe +/- 15 hours (but first try probably takes longer, since you gotta get used to it). If you do the side missions as well, it is probably about 20-25 hours. That's not including the extra mission unlocked after the game, or the EX-hard mode.

I say what I think of a game before it comes out. So what every gamer does that. Also Its true. the decent game he did was KH1. KH2 sucked ass. You also seen me say FFVII:CC may turn out good etc.

So its not hard for me to go ''If Nomura works on a game it will suck.'' No, I like Rufus, Vincent etc.. I'm just don't go its the best JRPG ever.. When it's not, it fails a game versus these other JRPGs/RPGs. But then again I'm not a gfx whore. I'm not like some ppl who say''This game is the best because it has good gfx and decent story.

But I always give my final review of a game when I play it. I may say what I think of game before it comes out. Like everyone does. But thats only saying what I think. When the game come out. I won't say it's good or sucked till I played it.


Plus kind hard to think anything different. When everything his done, he failed at. One game KHI was good, wow.

What I ment was. If anyone says anything bad about FFVII there haters as u say. Even though hardcore FFVII fans have diss FFVII;DoC etc..

FFVII was decent, but it's the most overrated RPG on this planet. ANd yes FFVII:AC did suck as well as DoC.

Advent Children was not an amazing movie, but it was fun to watch. Brought back many good memories, so I think it achieved its purpose.
