Oh, thanks, that makes sense. I never knew that the outside world had a name. I guess this whole isolation thing is what sparked the Resident Evil idea. And why our poll mentions Milla.

No problem. =] I wonder why it's even called Pulse. The name Pulse makes it seem somewhat dark and barren when it isn't like that. You can see the red-haired girl standing on a cliff overlooking a very lush and green landscape with what looks like dinosaurs roaming it. Maybe that's what scares them.

Yeah, that makes sense. It does have a kind of Resident Evil thing going on. Lightning is kinda like Milla's character in a way. xD

From what i know pulse is a dark barren place, defeantly dangerous which i why they made the floating city to keep out of danger. The red- haired girl is possibly from a clan that didn't make it in to the city or they choose to live in pulse.

oh and the floating city i said to be powered from a crystal.

Just because tis based on reality, doesn't mean it has to take place on Earth. I thought it was going to be in the same world as FFXIII, except during a time like ours.

It doesn't look like it would be earth, although it does look VERY realistic. I mean, the main character was riding in a very earth-like car for crying out loud.

So far its been stated that ffxiii and vxiii r set in completly differnt worlds.

FFvsXIII is probably not set on earth. It may be based on reality but it's still a fantasy game. Though the places you go may resemble real places. I saw this comparison pic in a scan where it showed a real pic of a street in Japan and it showed a pic from the game in a place that looked EXACTLY like that! The only difference was that it was night time in the game pic and the hot blond girl was standing there

Isn't that case already for all FFs? They're set in their own universe I believe.

Well,all ff games are set in different worlds/universes/dimensions,whatever...So I guess it's not earth,because if it was then it wouldn't be that realistic, it will be a world very similar to earth but with the fantasy stuff.

Oh ok, thanks for correcting me. But then that brings up another question. Why is FFvXIII a XIII if they're in different worlds??? I guess both worlds could intertine like fugitives from XIII coming to the vXIII world

Are you sure the dont live on the same world, except different parts of it, because it says it all happens within the same universe.
