Dude no.

A compilation just means games that are connected with each other, storywise. FF12 is storywise connected with FFT and FFTA. FFTA is the dream version of FF12 (they make that suggestion in the GBA title, and the races that make an appearance in FF12 confirm it actually)
I call it a compilation, I could call it connected-games. Who cares.

FF13 has 3 games that are set in the same world which shows you are wrong about the place-thing, becuz same world... xD(like Ivalice in the FF12 compilation).

Anyways, FF13 vs 13 can not be called FF14 at all, becuz it is in the same world as FF13 and is a what-you-could-call spinoff.

Wow FF12 is connected with FFT. That is pretty cool.

The FF13 is basically a series of itself with all the games coming out for that one title, lol.

Exactly, just like FF12 is a series...
FF12 is connected with FFT (look at the story with the war thing and the world Ivalice) and FFTA (the races, the world Ivalice, etc.)

I dont think FFT(A) and FF12 are related in any way WHATSOEVER except the world. Obviously the same races are going to be there if its the same world, but it has been said time and time again, that its just the same world at a different time period. That is the only relation they have.

You get very defensive over your Final Fantasy's New. >>; You should lay low on the "Attack" button. ;D

FF13 and FFvs13 will be horribly different, it even says so on Square Enix's Official page. I'm not saying it is FF14, I'm giving an example of just how different these two games will be.

Also:

In this manner, FFT(A) and FF12 cannot be considered compilations, nor can FFX(X-2). Also keep note they were never given that title.

Mewt makes his own dream world, and it is based on the game. Marche says so himself.

There are Final Fantasy references to othe FFs in every game, and they dont have any cross game relationships. He simply likes FF, this is a way to appeal to the gamer while hes playing.

It is based on Final Fantasy in general, it is based on the FFT WORLD, FF12 is also based on the world, but that is the only way they are connected.

But once again, the same thing is established. All it is, is the same world. In no way is anything else connected.

If that is not the case because taht source talks bull, then yes you are right. But the fact taht they base the 2 games on FF13 means they have a connection. Else you dont CALL it FF vs 13 or that other title.

And when you want to connect stories, they need to be in the same world. Unless we get the whole Nojima project where FFVII is the future FFX... xD
That is an option though....

EDIT: In fact, now that I read the full page, it looks like the Nojima project I talked about will be done with the FF13 series... O_o

Same universe, different worlds... space travel in the end of FF13, FF vs 13 the sequel where the descendants live in a newly found planet... xD

Nah, probably and hopefully not... ;)

Nomura does good work, when it comes to directing and character design. Except for Spirits Within, but we all mess up every once in a while.

Fabula Nova Crystallis. Latin for Tale of the New Crystal. Its the name of the compilation.

He didnt direct SW! xD

He didnt do the character design either... Shuko Murase did...

Nomura only made FF7AC... and it was a better movie IMO...

Btw monkey, though Nomura may not be good in directing movies, Sakaguchi wasnt either... xD Look at SW...
But Sakaguchi is a great director for games, and I think Nomura might have the same style...

I dont mean just movies. I feel he did god awful in Kingdom Hearts 2, and his other recent works. KH2 was good, but..yuck at some points.
