The link to the FFXII threads don't work so . . .

I just got home from buying the Limited Edition game and a guide which was 20% off at Gamestop. My question is though, did I get the normal guide or the limited edition? The guide I got is a Brady games signature series guide and its really thick and really heavy. Anyone know?

I'll play the game later tonight, oh man it looks so sweet.

Sadly, I didn't have enough to buy the guide. But I did get the game. I haven't played it yet though.

i went to ebgames and saw the guide, it was really thick and im not sure if it was the limited edition or not.

Thanks, now I know that I got the normal one. Still pretty damn thick for a normal guide though

Means the game has a lot of side quests or it's uber detailed,

Yes, I wouldn't have made this, but it seems the thread on FFXII made earlier was taken off, so I decided to add this.

This is FOR ALL FFXII CHAT! All questions will be posted here. All spoilers will be posted here. All overall talk about the game will go here. And please, have all spoilers in spoiler boxes. Regardless of how many of you got the game, there are many who have yet to get the game. (Me included.) People who haven't played the game don't want to see someone blurt out: "OMG! I CAN'T BELIEVE VAAN WAS EVIL!" (That's probably not true, I'm just giving an example."

So please, keep all FFXII talk here.

So, on topic, who got the game? And how is it so far? I, personally have not gotten the game yet, and will probably have to wait until Christmas. But I'd still like to hear what you all think about the game so far? Does it live up to the hype? Is it all it ever should be? Does it "De-Throne" FFVII's reign? (Sorry for all the nonsense questions, xD.)

So please, discuss!

I ****ing love this game. It's really brilliant. I didn't like the battle system at first, thought it was WAY too slow, but now it's picking up and it's really awesome. The cut scenes are awesome as well.

One thing that bothers me though, the eyes of the humans in FFXII *Like Vaan and Penelo* are really weird looking. Reminds me of Michael Jackson... The cut scenes show their eyes looking perfect.. but in-game graphics make their eyes look severely baggy and stuff.. weird

Unfortunately, I'll probably have to wait until Christmas to get it, but it looked really awesome, and I enjoyed playing the demo.

I got it, but when I got home only played a little then went to bed.. Going to play more soon though.. Its 3:50 am.. So soon I'll have the tv to myself^^

I can't waitto get it, but unfortunatly, like always, us over here in EU won't get it till 2007...This reminds me of KHII...:D...

I have seen gameplay movies fromm it, and it looks like hey have learned from KH, not to have all these random battles, and instead make the creatures spawn freely in the world (Like in KH), and the new battle-system looks nice too...:D...

I have the Limited Edition strategy guide. It seems as if for once, BradyGames has outdone themselves. Everything is quite detailed and even includes drop rates for treasure chests.
