Yes, FFXII is quite expansive.

I thought I'd start logging my progress in my signature for those who were interested. Hopefully others can do it as well. ;D

The dvd w/ the Collector's edition is awesome! And the gameplay is way improved. [Spoiler]Poor Reks... Poor VAAN... And what happened to The Basch? he was cool. I dunno, but I do know I just killed a tomato.[/spoiler]

Well, for one thing, it's not turn based. It's live gameplay. You don't even notive a change when you go into a battle.

Yeah Zaka, It's Active Time Battle. A good thing is that you can change the pace of it. I only got mine for 40.65 .__. (Circuit City lol)

Anyways, the game is pretty amazing so far. The only thing I don't like is Vaan's voice. It's a bit monotonous at times. It's pretty good for the most part though. >.>
I actually didn't think I'd like Fran's voice, but I think it fits her very well.

FF 12 is definitely a must buy! >D

Edit: What makes it so great..hmm.....Large areas, great voice acting, amazing graphics, nice story(so far), and it's just...fun! I love it. So addicting.

Dogen... Personally the game is a must by for all the reasons Freya said.

I was very surprised when I heard Fran's voice. I thought she would have a voice simaler to Lulu's from X... But its fits her well, and I like it much better.

If you got the LE strategy guide, which cover did you get? I got Fran, which is good cause I wanted her or Ashe...

My current level is 9 at about 6ish hours. Im getting ready to go [SPOILER] the floating continent. I also just got Basch, Fran, and Baltheir on my team fully.
I want Ashe so badly though!!! Good thing you get her relativly soon...[/spoiler]

I'm level 6. ^_^ This game just keeps getting better and better. At first I loved it, then I was kind of "eh" and since then its just getting better and better! =D

Five hours in....

[spoiler]Fran and Balthier are with me and we are trying to escape a dungeon we got into, but the second i step out like 10 gaurds attack me at once and I die x_x;[/spoiler]

So stuck...xD Gonna have to change up my gambits.

I have Vaan at level 6 and I don't even have Fran, Penelo, Basch, Ashe, and Balthier yet.

Wow, you must be leveling up hard then. xP

Got past the part i'm stuck at by taking a different route around my enemies (almost stealth xD) and changing my gambits. o.o This game is like, more strategic then I first thought.

Level 8. Progress:

[spoiler]Wow, the whole mimic dungeon was REALLY creative. o.o' I thought it was atleast. Makes good use of the battle system. xD But now i'm fresh out of potions.[/spoiler]

Haha, so I'm stuck like whoa, and it's just an event battle.

[spoiler]On the Dreadnaught Leviathan, where you fight the three Judges and Imperial soldiers is hecka hard. [/spoiler]

I'm at level 10 with Vaan. Thinking about leveling up more.

Oh! Also,
[spoiler]Yeah, The Mimic Dungeon was pretty neat. The whole power supply and how you had to defeat them to re-supply it and stuff. That was pretty spiffy. The boss was challenging, but not so hard you get angry. x)[/spoiler]
