The battle system for me was really easy to get the hang of just how certain gambits work in some situations took me some time to completely understand how they really effect how battles go about. Levels in XII don't have a very big influence on how the outcome turns out which was great by me since I'm usually obsessive about being at a certain level for bosses but none of that here.

It's not even the actual graphics themselves, per se, but the art design took a huge blow, too.

Nothing looks anywhere as cool or as unique as it did in X :C. I'm still in the dungeons in the beginning of the game, so this may change as time goes on, but at the moment I'm fairly disappointed.

They arent much better than X, but once you get out of those dungeons and the desert lands surrounding Rabanastre then the visuals get much better, though still not much of an improvement

Yeah, uh, I'm only level 16 at that place.

The Gigas battle or whatever kills.

Not necessarily, I tend to not rely too heavenly on quickenings since you're using up all of your MP which prove to be very valuable in later stages of the game. But honestly if you protect your party with buffs and have some of the best armor and weapons in the game then there's really no need to use quickenings anyway.

I need a recommendation of where to go next after having beaten the Shadowseer: Zodiark, or Behemoth King?

In other words, which one is easier?

Well each of those battles are quite long in different ways. The Shadowseer battles requires that you fight numerous other monsters like the Phoenix, Pandaemonium, Slyt, and Fenrir but none of them are too difficult considering that you had to beat all of them once before the mark.

Zodiark: That should only be a place of residence when you have things like Bubble Belts, Float, and the best armor and weapons that you can get your hands on. But even still the road down there isn't easy whatsoever.

Behemoth King: Really the only difficult thing is actually getting it to appear since you have to clear out all of the monsters in both the Edge of Reason and the Ice Field of Clearsight. But the battle itself isn't really that bad for as long as you have once again party buffs like Haste, Protect, Shell, Bubble, and Bravery.

Things start to get kinda tricky when it starts switching palings that make it immune to physical attacks and the other against magick attacks, so make sure to set your gambits accordingly to what its paling is. Mostly just use magicks like Flare, Ardor, Shock, and Scathe when the physical attack paling is up.

But in the end I would go with the Behemoth King first but that's up to you.

Behemoth, Shadow Seer, and then Zodiark.

I think Shadow Seer is harder to get to than Behemoth and Zodiark's harder than either of the two.

The actual battle with Zodiark himself isn't that hard honestly if you don't count getting instantly KO'd by Darkja due to bad luck, just the long road down there dealing with the Etem's, Bats, and Hecteyes are particularly annoying.

Thanks for the tip! Hopefully, I can get it to appear, but from what I hear, it takes awhile to clear both areas.

It can to some extent since all of the mist in both areas its hard to really tell whether or not something is actually there, and the monsters will start to appear again if you stay in a area for too long.
