I think I've played through the game about 6 or 7 times now. The first 2 times I managed to do everything just for the sake of doing it, plus I even took the liberty of leveling up all 6 party members to 99.

The last couple of times though I tried doing the low level game completion and it worked I managed to finish the game while my party members were in the early to late 30's, since I had all of the rare weapons and armor on everyone in which it wasn't as hard as I imagined really.

well i haven't started yet cause i just saw the new Batman movie (which was badass)

plus whats the earlist rare weapon i could get?

I'll have to go and check the specifics but I know that its possible to get the Zodiac Spear fairly early in the game, but of course you're running a very high chance of getting killed if you aren't prepared, but of course its up to you.

The easiest way to get to Nabudis is through the woods area that you fight the Bomb King, its much easier than going through the wasteland I thought.

Haha yeah I got the Zodiac Spear way too early on my second playthrough (for those that care to know it can be done as soon as you are asked to head to Arcadia I may be wrong about that though) but yeah, I just kept using Vanishga to avoid unwanted deaths, I did get heavily chased down til I actually reached the room with the Zodiac Spear in it though and was almost annihilated, but I used a decent number of concurrences to save myself.

In any case I don't recomend it because I found that it seriously overpowers you and makes the game no fun.

Not necessarily I always considered the part where you finally get to go to Archades being right at the middle of the game since you're now just begun to know what really is happening and whatnot, but it'll come soon if you stick to the main storyline straight through.

Usually whenever I decided to train some or do some of the side missions getting to a certain part in the game seemed to take longer than I figured it would be, but I became used to the way things were and overlooked it.

That game was too long. I mean FF games are known for being really long, but 12 took it to a whole new level. But the battle system was awesome. I like KH system so I enjoyed this one as well. It was an all around good game. It just wasnt great.

Lately, I've been going through and completing all the hunts, and at this point I'm planning an excursion to Nabudis to see if I can defeat what's there.

I've marked the creatures in Nabudis with a star, but I don't think I'll be able to do Chaos because I need medallions or something like that. Help would be appreciated on where to find them.

Also, the double star by Gilgamesh means I've defeated his first encounter.

Am I prepared enough for the hunts ahead?

Ok a lot of these you'll be able to take out, a couple you won't. I would honestly say that you aren't ready for any of the remaining espers yet, though to be honest I'm impressed that you've managed to take out all the others at those levels.

I haven't defeated all the hunts myself but you ought to be able to take out Gilgamesh and everyone above him on your list, but anyone below him on your list (except Ixion, who is quite easy) would either put up quite a fight , or would complete descimate you and not even leave your pretty little bones behind.
