Rep Power: 18 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The Ultima Weapon didn't take me more than 30 minutes to get when all of the bazaar items that are required to get it became available. But finding all of the rare game monsters were the most time consuming for me since a lot of them only appeared after certain conditions were met. |

Rep Power: 3 ![]() | Perhaps you and I have different playing styles? But fair enough, I seem to get through teh core story of FFVIII done in 45 hours, IX in about the same, FFX in about 50 hours and I am still getting through FFVII, but FFXII seems to take me at least 70 hours even if I skip some side quests as I go (I always do some marks as I go through so that may take up the extra time, who knows) |

I was talking about the extra hunt Mark in that giant crystal you find Ultima in. You can fight it after you defeat Yiazmat or something

if im ever interested or bored, ill give that a try. lvl 21 at the beginning is just kick ass, not too mention you can run into strong enemies with your cast without them doing a thing @Haku, yeah the Omega weapon

| Carpe Omnious | The dustia trick is old the knew leveling up is in the stilshrine of miriam... where you make the Nechlamore (wrong) appear and he summons zombies... and make your gambits so they dont kill the summoner guy... and just set your gambits a certain way... and then leave it on during night.. and there ya go... 50 levels in about 18 hours ;P |

I did the same thing when fighting Yiazmat. I left the game for about 5 hours and he was down to about 6 bars of health left but it wasn't a leveling up type deal

Rep Power: 18 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | For me personally I did all of my major leveling up in the second part of the Henne Mines with a Embroidered Tippet on everyone. It was actually a lot faster than I thought really once I forgot about getting to 99 as quickly as possible even though I knew how pointless levels were. |

Rep Power: 18 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Yeah since it really gave a sense of more strategy combat rather than what level your characters are at, even though it isn't necessary its still a good thing to do if you aren't confident with your weapons, armor, and gambits. |

If I start a new game and try to complete the game again,it won't take me long since I already know what to do and where to go and I may do some hunts and side-quests while completing the main storyline again but even so,those won't take up much time. Quote:
The story bosses are easy to beat and now, since my characters have powerful weaponry, have good gambitry and know how to use powerful magicks,I'm able to beat Vayne's final form, the Undying in a few hits. Quote:
Well, there are two new game+ modes in the international version. One is weak mode where all the characters begin at level 1 and the other is strong mode, where all the characters begin at level 90 and the characters don't level up in either modes. Also, nothing carries over to the new game+ files. Quote:
Leveling up only raises health points and magic points. The things that do matter are armory, weaponry, gambitry and magicks.
