Final Fantasy XII

Blarg this game has way too many side quests. In total I have played like 200 hours just to get all the goodies and all.

But yeah I would suggest doing the hunts, except for Yiazmat. He was a waste of 5 hours of my life and, unless you are keen to get Order of Ambrosia like me, I wouldn't fight him.

There are many side quests in XII but most of em' are short.

Ummm not neccesarily :/

Like getting all the espers, getting all the hunts, etc... took 40+ hours for me to do.

Well,doing one hunt or trying to obtain one esper doesn't take long,but all together take some time.

Yiazmat is the game's ultimate task nothing before that even measures up to what you will endure then, so if anyone wants to see how tough the game really is shouldn't pass on the opportunity, regardless of the battle taking so long which you don't have to do all at once to begin with.

Took a crap load of time and there was no reward for it either D:

You have to do basically everything in the game to get all of the figurines just getting the final 2 or 3 for some are the most difficult.

*Edit* I really didn't mind that there wasn't a initial reward for doing all of those things, just doing everything in one of the most difficult FF games was enough for me.

Yes,reward or no reward,the accomplishment itself was something to be proud of.

The Wyrmhero Blade would have been a lot better if it wasn't obtainable so late and the game so you aren't able to really put it to good use and the added slow side effect as well.
