Speaking of strenous, grinding in this game is extremely annoying. But I've turned into a LP whore, so it's alright.

I still haven't beat the Mandragoras. Two members are lv. 31, One lv. 30 Two lv29, and Penelo at lv.27
I'm going to level my mains to 31, and the others to 30. Then I'm going to spam espers and Quickenings against those little mofo's.

The Mandragoras are each Level 37. They're annoying but if you're at a decent Level they aren't that hard.

Oh yeah I remember fighting those things they weren't all that bad. I mainly just tried to focus on one of them at a time and it went on from there. I only had to use a quickening near the end since I ended up getting two of them right next to each other and the quickening finished the battle off.

Just like have Esuna/a lot of remedies/both.

i summoned belias in the battle.

They killed Belias within 10 seconds.

And, I beat the little sgaf. Now I just have to go fight me sum Ahriman, then fwooosh, Archadia.

yeah,sometimes the espers are useless against a small cluster of enemies.

Archades wasn't what i expected.

i expected more life.

Like Rabanastre you mean?
This is Archades, the city of the snobs. The grand Imperial City, most likely filled with arrogant people. The higher class, the more snobbish they are. They are too important to run around like they do in Rabanastre.

It doesn't really matter if the cluster of enemies is small or large if your main 3 party members can't hold them off then hardly any of the espers (except for Zodiark if you use his death blow right then) will have much luck either.

i don't know about this,but does the esper's strength increases with the character they are assigned to?

Only the the summoners level will determine the espers stat only the HP and MP aren't effected.

so the higher leveled summoner the stronger esper.

Yeah basically the Str, Mag. Pwr, Vit, and Spd will be at a certain amount depending on the level of the summoner the HP and MP stats will always be different in that level category for each esper but it still depends on the level of the summoner. Say if Vaan is at lv. 99 and he summons Belias it'll have a HP of 4090-4673 and a MP stat of 353-587.

lol, I found the root to my difficulty; the best weapon I had was Lohengrin.

But, I've got one lv.34, three lv.33, and two lv. 32

I'm going to level up until everyone is level 37.

so you want to stop leveling up when you're characters reach 37.
