YAY I beat Omega Mark XII =D Now I have the Wyrmhero Blade, and isn't what it is cracked up to be but whatever...now I am trying to get the last accessory I am missing and then bring on the armour and weapons XD

omega mark xii has the most hp than any other enemy, am i right?

no you're not...Omega Mark XII has 1,000,000HP (one million HP) in the NA and European version and 10,000,000HP in the Japanese Version.

Yiazmat has 50,000,000 HP (50 million HP) so in the game Yiazmat has the most HP as a monster, hunt and boss in the game. You need to beat Yiazmat, Omega Mark XII and complete the fishing game to get the Wyrmhero Blade.

Defeat Yiazmat = The Godslayer's Badge
Defeat Omega Mark XII = Omega Badge (dropped as loot and need to pick up otherwise it disappears.)
Complete fishing game = Lu Shang's Badge

If you sell these and go to the Bazaar, it will appear under a certain name xD I forgot which is the Wyrmhero's Blade

Its name is a reference to director Yasumi Matsuno's nickname (Yazumi Matsuno). The additional i in Yiazmat's name is not present in the Japanese version, likely being a localization decision to associate it closer with "Tiamat".

Its basically just a trophy sword since you don't really get a chance to put it to good use and the added slow side effect that it brings doesn't make things any better.

Omega just has the highest atk. power out of any monster in the game, he really isn't that hard as the game makes it seem.

lol I know, I felt accomplishment then it went away and I was like T_T is that it xD spending almost 6 hours on Yiazmat, defeating Omega Mark XII with me dying every 2 seconds and fishing for like 2 hours for the last badge to show up XD I have patience lol

I'm currently getting the best weapons now, then i'm going to do armour, with 1 of everything. Then I'll get all the game monsters then done XD then BAHAMUT here I come lol

I never took a shining to Ragnarok and Excalibur XD Ragnarok was just pointless for me XD I hated it, then Excalibur was like meh, why bother, great for flora and fauna which are weak to Holy, but otherwise meh.

I never liked the whole offensive thing anyway, I preferred the whole Mage ideas in the games XD.
I usually took a shining to the Red Mage since I liked the idea of being part warrior, part mage. I even use it in Final Fantasy XI XD lol and essentially most of my characters like Fran, Balthier and Vaan & Ashe at times are Red Mages XD While Penelo and Ashe are my white mage and black mage respectively. Basch seems to be my only true warrior XD lol

To me also, Black Magic in the games now are becoming less relied on by players, white magic more succeeding. I rarely use Black Magic now unless it is for elemental weakness, what happened to the whole using black magic whenever...like Lulu in FFX and Black Mages in other games lol

I mainly just used Ragnarok because of its ability to immobilize enemies but if I would go up against a boss that would be immune to the Holy damage with the Excalibur I would just switch over to the Masamune that katana was a life saver for the battle with Yiazmat 2 of my characters had one during the later stages when the maximum damage was only 6999.

meh I never used Masamune on Yiazmat XD at the start I used:

Vaan: Deathbringer
Penelo: Cloud Staff
Balthier: Antares with Dark Shot

then switch Vaan to use Zodiac Spear. The Deathbringer with Bravery did at the start 9999 damage, then when he raised his defence, Deathbringer only did 5999 damage, so then when I switched to Zodiac Spear, it did 6999 damage XD lol

Yeah but the Zodiac Spear may be the strongest weapon in the game atk. wise but that doesn't ultimately make it the best weapon to use since its rapid combo rate isn't nowhere near that of the Masamune's.

During the late stages of the battle with Yiazmat it becomes less of how strong weapons are but how many hits you can do in a row, sure you can still finish him off with just the usual combo hits every now and then, but beating him would be alot faster with rapid combo weapons.

yeah I figured that out, so near the end, like last bar, I used a ninja sword to finish him off with some Genji Gloves and he went xD I was like ooof =D ch00fed

Lol yeah nothing in the game can measure up to the long marathon of a battle with Yiazmat, it took me almost an hour to beat Hell Wyrm it would've been alot longer if I didn't keep Hastega on the entire party throughout the entire battle, and the battle with Omega took me almost 2 hours since I kept getting instantly KO'd and retreating.

are they good weapons when you know how to use em'?

lol Hell Wyrm took me a few good hours, but I was like level 50 then XD Omega took about 45mins to beat....Yiazmat took me a good day with breaks and that XD and going back to Rabanastre to buy some Chronos Tears and some Remedy's xD lol oh well

rods and staffs have different elemental effects and staffs have greater attack power than staffs, but their magic attributes increases your magic power greatly. This is why I use staffs and rods for my mages mostly.

Measures I haven't actually used, but by looking at them I think whatever target they hit, they gain a positive status effect, such a Bravery, Shell, Protect, Haste and Faith.

lol there's one hunt near the end of them game which you can do, which gives you the Rod of Faith and 500,000 Gil..opposed to which the petitioner gives you 2 Bacchus' Wine and like 200 Gil...you have to go Mt. Bur Omisace and go to the next screen from the save crystal is..go to the monster looking fossil/rock thing, the nose tip, remove vaan's equipment and attack is to get it XD

I think the hunt was the King Behemoth one....considering it's hard to get him to appear, I should hope so you get 500,000 Gil than some measly 200 Gil XD
