Final Fantasy Tactics is quite possibly the best game to ever come from Squaresoft, save for Xenogears or Final Fintasy IV. Everything about it rules. The plot is fantastic, a tale full of treachery and deceit. Some may find it too convoluted, but they suck. It's also quite possibly the deepest strategy game I've come across, due to the combat and the party customization. The music is all orchestral and phenominal, one of my favorite soundtracks in the industry.

My only complaints are that the sprites could more animations, and the localization is very bad at times. Romanization must be a bitch.

The only bad thing in FFTA was the story to me. Besides that it was great.

I actually didn't mind the story in FFTA. I knew that it wasn't going to be like the one in FFTactics.

My biggest gripe with FFTA is that it was far too easy. Whenever I give my enemies an opening, they never act upon it. They usually just do something completely useless then run away. They rarely use any special abilities, aside from mages classes and someone with "Far Fist."

i really loved final fantasy tactics. you get some really cool moves and the storyline is amazing. i played 10 min of ffta and i hated it, but maybe it gets better later on.

I could never find a copy of FFT and I wish I could play it. I loved FFTA advance though, even though it was easy.

You couldn't find a copy? There might still be some in a Wal-Mart or Gamestop or just try Ebay.

FFT was great. It was my third FF game. I played it right after FFVII. I loved it. I liked FFTA, but it started out a lot slower in my opinion.

Have your characters participate in battle to gain JP. When enough JP is gained, they will Job Level Up. Gain enough job levels, and new jobs will become available. Some jobs have requirements to attain before you can use them. Such as a Black Mage requires a character to be a Lv. 2 Chemist. To gain a lot of JP, use the Squire's Accumulate skill and learn ( and equip ) the Gained JP UP skill.

...or you could weaken the last enemy, then start beating on your own units. It's a good way to build up JP and EXP rather quickly.
