No one is ever right 100% of the time, it's impossible.

FFVIII is superior to FFIX in nearly every way, apart from the weapon system, the fact that you have to find a bunch of different items to create a new weapon is annoying.

VIII is a better game than IX and I love IX, but VIII has better characters, bosses, locations and music.

Better characters? A single character from FFIX had more personality than the entire FFVIII cast. Better bosses? All the battles went down in virtually the same manner: GF spam, heal, and repeat.

A few of the locales were actually neat, while others were just utterly boring. The music was only decent part of FFVIII, and by that I mean there were a few decent songs (like Deling City's theme).

I kinda see your point now.
I apologise for insulting you, I played FFIX constantly for weeks, even though I had already completed it, so I guess I was a bit sick of it.
I started a new game on FFVIII recently and got my ass kicked by Diablos, so I stopped playing it.
Anyway, I apologise again.
Did you find Chocobo Hot and Cold on FFIX addictive?
I spent hours playing that mini game.:D

Final Fantasy IX. I was just completely blown away by that game. That was really a real gaming experience. Everything was fantastic within that game.




Okay, that's a bit of an understatement, but I cannot begin to express what that game was for me.
