The Behemoth of FF X-2

Ok, has anybody gotten to the Thunder Plains mission where you have to defeat all of the monsters feeding off of the lightning towers and the final boss is that HUGE behemoth? I kinda need help here.

My characters:

Yuna - Lv.35 Warrior
Rikku - Lv.36 White Mage
Paine - Lv. 37 Gunner

I was wondering if anyone had tips on beating this boss. Should I level up, change dress spheres or what?

And I would appreciate it if you actually posted an actual aid, instead of saying how much ff x-2 sucks

I advise you level up. :/ I was at level 50 with Yuna, Rikku was 52, and Paine was lvl. 52 as well when I completed that. You should try to get to lvl. 40 with your characters.

Yeah, I would level up a bit. You need a dress sphere that will provide a decent amount of defense. I don't remember which is best for defense because it's been ages since I played it. Also remember to keep your characters healthy because when the boss dies it'll cast Meteor which can do substantial damage to characters with low HP.

umm you get it automaticlly in chapter 3, so i think you have the special dressphere

Level 50? I beat the game at level 45...

Anyway, Paine should be a Dark Knight using Darkness everyturn, Rikku can either be doing the same, or she can be a White Mage constantly healing. If Rikku is a Dark Night, have Yuna be an Alchemist and Mix Mega-Potions (Potion+HiPotion) everyturn. If Rikku is healing, make Yuna either a Dark Knight and use Darkness or a gunner with Level 3 Trigger Happy.

I never used the special dresspheres, so I don't know squat about them. I found them useless.

I used the other dressphere that looks like an animal costume....i forgot what the name was of it....

keep the highest leveled up person as the animal...(OOH!! i got the name!!) BERSERKER? i think? and the lowest as the animal also.

keep the middle person as a white mage.

be sure that you have mastered every dressphere!!

All special dressspheres are gotten in Chapter 2, with paine's attainable in chapter 1.

I was way overleveled for that. Yuna lvl 56, paine and rikku lvl 58.

Yuna - Berserker with counterattack and magic counter with berserk on.
Rikku - Alchemist using stash of mega potions every turn.
Paine - Berserker with counterattack and magic counter with berserk on.

No way you can lose with that.

As said above, you should level up and if you don't want to do that, get alot of spells/abilities with your special dresspheres or dresspheres in general. This in turn levels your characters up anyway, so eh. Best thing is to get on a higher level.

The key to that game is overusage of the Beserker and Dark Knight dress spere's and One healer

If you have the special dressphere attack use it onm it., then meteor will only kill one person*

I say level up to the 50's and use samurai dressphere (Sparkler and Fireworks are good attacks )
