How do you shoot with the gunblade? I've tried everything...

It doesn't work O_O

Oh and my disk has a error in FMV where Galabiean invades Balamb Garden. ( Disk 2 )
Can't seem to pass any farther.

When Squall runs up to an enemy, hit R1 just as he strikes. You'll hear a sorta gunshot sound if you get it right. Timing is the main thing.

But you can't just shoot with the Gunblade, it can only happen when used with the blade.

Also, when you do time it right, there is also a bit of an explosion that hits the enemy. So watch for that two.

As for the game freezing, try taking a very smooth cloth and wipe the disc lightly. Emphasis on lightly so you don't damage it. The freezing could be caused by a fingerprint or hair, in that case it'll just come right off. If there is a crack, then you'd either have to use a Disc Doctor or buy a new FFVIII.

Also, you should wipe the disc from the center straight outwards.
