how do you get a ribbon on ff7? I already beat emerald weapon, and I need the ribbon to beat ruby weapon........

the easiest way to obtain a ribbon is by morphing a master tonberry. those guys have around 40,000 hp so it can be quite long if you don't have yuffie and her conformer.

why do I need Yuffie? and how does hp affect morphing? If its hp is a problem, I could use quadra magic with flare or with bahamut zero or something

To morph a monster they have to be at low HP. So demi3 the Master Tonberry twice, then use the morph materia. Master Tonberry can be found in the Crater,and in the battle arena at Gold Saucer. You can also steal an Elixir from the Tonberry if you want. If your characters are at a high level, like 75 and higher, u wont have a problem. Use the Double Cut materia, only if you can use the 4x cut. As for Ruby WEAPON... kill two of your team mates, leaving Cloud alive. Then after Ruby puts his arms in the ground, use Pheonix materia. It will hurt Ruby and revive your team mates. That should help you out.

I knew how to beat ruby, I just needed the ribbon....and don't worry, cloud and vincent are level 94. thanks for the help.......so, I just gotta use 4X Cut on him? sounds easy........and does anything good happen when you buy the house in costa del sol?

not really. it just gives you a free inn. but it's a nice addition to the ff7 experience...

normally, morphing reduces your attacks to 1/10 of their normal strenght. BUT there was a glitch in the game: if yuffie uses morph when her conformer is equipped, morph will be as strong as a normal physical attack.
