Final Fantasy X

I never had enough money for this game and i finally found it under 20 dollars and i bought it. I have heard it is really good, so did I make a good choice and should I buy X-2?

While I agree that you made a good choice picking up Final Fantasy X, there's really no way anyone could answer the second question for you. It's personal opinion, and our's no doubt differs from yours at least slightly. Play through Final Fantasy X and find out if you like it first, because if you don't like Final Fantasy X, there's probably no chance that you'd like Final Fantasy X-2.

Final Fantasy X-2 is quite different from Final Fantasy X, so it's possible that you, like many others, would love X but absolutely hate X-2. Unless you really care for the characters from X (primarily Tidus, Yuna and Rikku), there's no reason for you to buy it. And of course if you did buy it anyway, you'd have no reason to waste your time getting 100% to see the "Perfect Ending."

Final Fantasy X is definitely worth the wait. As good as this game is, please, DO NOT get the sequel. It's basically a sort of crappy "Charlie's Angels". Only it's even crappier. It's like someone took the case of its prequel, poured some sauerkraut in it, closed it, and took the smelliest of all dumps on it.

If you want a more specific explanation, it's basically Final Fantasy X: Recycled. Plus, the opening scene emasculates you. The trio of girls also use terms like: "Disasterrific". Disasterrific?! You can't even tell if that's good or bad by reading it!

FFX is a very good game, excellent choice in getting it. After you beat it, then it's really up to you whether or not you should get the sequel. Personally, I enjoyed the game (not as much as the original) and do not regret buying it at all.

It's not a TERRIBLE game, but it sucks compared to other FFs. But still a good game. I say buy it.

i bought both games, and i have no regrets at all! ffx2 may not as good as other ffs BUT it's still good! specially if you wanna know what happened to the characters!

Yes, you got a very good deal on FFX, you're not wasting not a cent of your money. As for X-2, I advise you not to buy it. It just tells how he comes back, when in FFX it shows he did come back.
