Default Itadaki Street Special

This game was brought to my attention by Andrew (who seems to have fallen of the face of the forums...). It's basically Mario Party, but a SE version for the PS2. Confirmed charachters are:
Final Fantasy
- Cloud (FFVII)
- Tifa (FFVII)
- Aerith (FFVII)
- Yuna (FFX)
- Rikku (FFX)
- Paine (FFX-2)
- Vivi (FFIX)
- Chocobo

Dragon Quest
- Alena (DQIV)
- Crift (DQIV - Cristo in American version)
- Dragon Quest V main character
- The prince of Midenhall (DQIII)
- The princess of Moonbrooke (DQIII)
- The prince of Cannock (DQIII)
- Bianca (DQ V)
- Ryan and Hoimin (DQIV - Ragnar and Healie in American version)
- Slime

This game is supposed to come out on or around Dec. 22nd in Japan, and hopefully follow up a couple months later in North America. SE doesn't know if they will release it in NA yet though, because they aren't sure if the sales will be worth it.

Cool. Now all they need is a Square SSBM.

Heres what I found about it at IGN http://ps2.ign.com/objects/701/701034.html

Thanks for the info, I hadn't read that yet, but most of it was old. This is kinda off topic, but did you notice that the characters they announced for FF are all girls? Tifa, Yuna and Rikku, not one guy mentioned in that article. This could almost fit in with your other thread Blue Mage.

I've known about this for a while too. I didn't know about the trailer though, I'll check that out later, thanks for the tip. And I know they had guys, I just find it funny that no guys were mentioned in the article at IGN.

The only reason they don't is because it would give them bad rep...parents wouldn't buy any of the companies games then.

I got my hopes up real high for this game...SE better release it over here!!

It's a sort of Monopoly game, pretty cool. I would like to have it, if it comes to Europe...

Oh crap, just found something out:
Japan: December 22, 2004 (its released, see?)
US: Import Only

It will not ship outside Japan... CRAP!!!

See, all the good games are released in Japan and then they never come here. And I bet that the game would sell pretty good over here. I really wanted to get that! I even heard that you could summon monsters (I saw a picture of Squall summoning someone too) and that would have been awesome, completely anilhating all the other players with summons. I hate SE now...

I think it would have been cooler if it were like Super Smash Bros, but with SE characters...I want to be able to fight with them not just use them as pieces on a board game...But I would still get it, if it came out here though.
