Default Final Fantasy VI

Who here has played/beaten it? I've just started. I'm only at the part of South Figaro and Mt. Kolts. Me and my frienc couldn't beat Vigaras, for some odd reason, Blitz wouldn't work for us.

Come here to talk about this pretty cool game.

We got a rom of it and this game is way harder than FF9, including the bosses (except for Ozma of FF9) but anyway, Blitz a bit difficult to perform. What you do is this: right after you press the Blitz word on your actions screen, the cursor or finger points to Sabin, this is when you enter the Blitz combo, I can't remember, but I think the first Blitz is < > < and then after you enter the combonation with the direction buttons, then you press A and he should perform it. My favorite character in this whole game is King Edgar, such a handsome pervert he is!

The combo is <><, good memory and thanks for the help. Edgar is so strong too, especially with the tools, his AutoCrossbow at level 10 does around 160 damage to ALL enemies, which is amazing!! I love it!

Wait till you buy the drill for Edgar, it does 700 damage and sometimes more! That game is really hard, have you fought that octopus yet? He gets on my nerves!

700 eh? That could be interesting. Ah, no, I just got to the Returner's Hideout. My friend lost his PS1 memory card, so I'm letting him borrow mine until he beats FFVII..which is gonna take forever at the rate he's going. So yeah, I don't get to play much. And what's with that Shadow guy in the pub in South Figaro...he seems a little creepy.

Spoiler:His name is Shadow and he'll join and leave your party certain times throughout the game, though if you choose a certain option (like saving him before he falls off the land mass later on in the game) he's stay with you and the gang.

There are at least three extra characters you can get in the game, one is a moogle, the other is a Sacquacht, and finally, there's this dude, Gogo or something like that. You haven't met any real hard bosses yet, wait til you fight that octopus. What's most annoying about him is he talks while you battle him and (spoiler warning) he pops up at least five times throughout the whole game and you have to battle him everytime! Man, I hate that thing!

The moogle... you're talking about Mog right?!? He is so cool! I already know you can get him. When you get to use all those moogles in the cave at the very beginning, Mog was one of them, and he was way stronger than any of the other moogles and even stronger than Locke.

That octupus is gonna remind me of Seymour I bet... annoying, and never gives up...what fun.

Aaah, FFVI... Kefka is the best villain ever, no contest. Not exactly an easy game, but definetly worth seeing through to the end.

Kefka...I've heard that name alot. Not in the game, just around the forums. For some reason, I get a picture of Kuja in my head when I imagine what Kefka might look like. Wierd.

You're not too far off if you just consider the "freakiness" factor of their appearance. You'll see.

If you're in South Figaro, you already should've met him... right?!

Kefka is awesome, but very freaky!! He's a clown, and if you're scared of clowns... he's your nightmare, hehehe.

Don't listen to him, Banishing Blade. Kefka is your friend. Your clinically insane friend.

Kefka's the one with the laugh. That's essentially all you need to know to identify him. Best laugh in videogame history, by the way.
