Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Final Fantasy 8 is either the best game or the worst game in Square Enix. I doubt there is anyone who says its okay. We all have mixed issues about it. I thought it rocked cause it had the best storyline. Anyone elses thoughts on this game good or bad. Please tell why. I wanna see how many people thought it blew or rocked. See Ya, GTX! |

| Court Mage | I loved it. Squall, in my opinion is the coolest main character in any Final Fantasy game. The storyline was good, it had the twists that people have come to expect out of a Final Fantasy game. The GF's were cool, I liked how they had there own abilities and how they leveled up, and the junctioning system was good. This is probably what made people hate the game but it kept me playing, and exploring. Last edited by Goffy fused Sora; 06/08/05 at 03:52 AM. |

| Heartless | I liked it, it sucks that I never got to beat it. I was so far and my guys did 9,999 damage each one and I had awesome stats then one day I was doing side-quests (Chocobo one) and I get stuck in the last Chocobo forest, even though I beat the quest I still couldn't find my way to the Portal so I could go back to the ship. Then that file got erased and I haven't been able to play since then. Overall FF8 was a good game despite what other people may say about it. |

| Retired Staff | I see absolutely nothing to hate about this game. The battle system might annoy some people who aren't used to it, but other than that, the story was great. I loved the main characters, Squall and Rinoa especially. A lot of intricate twists and deep thought went into the plot of FF8. As I'm a sucker for romance, that factor drew me in. I would definitely play this game over again. I thought it was even more interesting than FF7. |

| BBS ftw! | HELL! ITS MY FAVORITE GAME! In my opinion, it's better than FFVII at least. FF8 had its ups and downs, but mostly ups. And the detail behind the story is awesum! (u use that little machine you get from cid, and all details about NPCs and Cities and Villages are told) |

| Super Waterbender! | I mostly liked it as well, the junctioning system was a bit confusing to me at first...but I got used to it after a while. the story is great, and the characters were interesting...so basically it was a good game all together. |

| Iron Tomato | New, I almost thought you hadn't posted yet, and I was shocked that it took you almost 12 hours to post here XD Anyway, FFVIII is my second favourite FF (after FFX of course). The main reason I didn't like it was the characters, I think they sucked. But other than that, I loved the game, every part. I especially liked how the monsters leveled up as you did. It was a great way to get all your party at even levels because if they fell behind, then one win would give them a lot of experience points. Another cool thing was making your own weapons, that was fun, but a bit annoying when I couldn't find the proper item. The story was pretty good too, lots of twists and turns, a bit predictable at some parts. And the junction system is so easy to use! I can't beleive people don't get it/don't like it. It is the easiest way to max out stats! |

Rep Power: 7 ![]() | It rocked when I first played it (though I had trouble with the conjunction system at first) and it rocks now when I play. The only thing I really didn't like about this game was there wasn't enough mini games or there were mini games that couldn't be played (Chocobo's World, Pocket Station required, but if they never sold those things here, they should've excluded that out of the NA version) |

| Iron Tomato | The lack of mini games was a little dissapointing, especially after having all the mini games in FFVII in the GS...most of them were lame though. I didn't even bother with the Chocobo minigame/sidequest, the only time I went to the Chocobo Forest was when you had to go there at the end of the game to get to the castle. FFVIII did have the best minigame of all time though, Triple Triad!! That's even better than Blitzball, by far! |

| Super Waterbender! | I didnt play the card game in FF8, it was to confusing for me...I played the one in FF9 however, that one was fun. |

Rep Power: 5 ![]() | It was okay. I'm not completely crazy about it. And no, Squall is not the best FF main character, Cloud is. Anyway, the storyline was really good, but not as good as FF7. In conclusion, none of the FF games can even touch FF7, and if you need proof, check the sales rates. |

| Super Waterbender! | Well I prefer Squall over Cloud, but its real close...both are awesome. Anyway, in sales FF7 beat all the others but I dont prefer any over another...they are all on the same level to me. |
