Which FF game to buy?

I was just wondering, which game I should buy. Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VIII, or Final Fantasy IX? I heard that Final Fantasy VII is awesome. But, I also heard that VIII is really good too. What should I buy?

Really, all the Final Fantasys are good. REALLY good. I would tell you to buy FFX in particular, buuuuuut if you plan on playing them all someday, you should start out with FVII (or else you'll be disappointed by it's graphics if you play the others)

FFX had the most beautiful story and music, and gameplay, IMO :P

I agree. Although it's not as if the storylines go in order, as they are all different. And yes, ALL of the FF games are awesome.

depends on whether u think graphics are a factor. if not, then ffvii all the way. music, storyline, character depth, and gameplay are enough to keep any rpg fan crazed about that game for years.

I'd get FF7 if you're looking for the best one but has a few major plot twist. Get FF8 if you're looking for one with a bit of romance and complicated storyline. Gett FF9 if you want to play a good games with excellent and well rewarding mini games. Get FFX if you want a game with beautiful graphics, hear the characters talk, and play bliztball. All four are great games.

I personally want to buy FF8, but the only thing i can
say is that FF7,FF8,and FFx are the way to go.Also, if
you wanna see more girl skin other than Yunas arms,
buy FFX-2.I know its sucky..but the lady luck dressphere is
the best!

I haven't played any of them, seeing's FFX is my first Final Fantasy game that I've played, but I think you should get 7 and 8 because they seem really popular and they've had good reviews, too.

Buy VII. Its the best without a doubt and nothing is better than VII. VIII sucked really bad, so don't buy it

Buy FF VII. It is awesome. FF VIII is good too, but FF VII is the best. And FF IX? It's sucky.

Start from the bottom- play FF IV to VI on a SNES emulator, and then buy FFVII, VIII, IX and X.
