Although the game didn't live up to expectations (though I will admit my expectations of games are always vague), I think that if DXHR is successful, Square-Enix will be willing to give Eidos Montreal more time and money to develop a similar IP with greater length, options and variety, or even continue the Deus Ex franchise. There is after all a twenty-five year gap between Human Revolution and the original Deus Ex in which nanotech augmentation begins to emerge, among other events.

I tried sneaking in with a tranquilizer rifle. Didn't go as well so I decided to just sneakily kill and finish all sidequests hell yeah.

I knew the new biochip was a trap. But I thought it was the only way to progress through the objectives. Sure enough, 3rd boss fight and he was a bitch to beat.
I just love beating people in converstations. It made me feel like a smooth talker with the pheromones.

I don't like how at the end, you don't see the results of your actions even though they are implied. D:
But nonetheless, the first option and the blow base sky high seem canon.

How did that battle turn out if you got the biochip update?

Eidos did their best to make all possible endings consistent with the canon. Don't forget, there's still twenty years to go till whatever we have to check things against actually happens.

I didn't know the chip was a trap.The battle was very annoying,you had this 3D-like effect but when you're not wearing the glasses (like how the display monitor glitches) THE WHOLE BATTLE.you couldn't see your health or ammo capacity.I barely beat namir,i took the cheapway by saving after every direct hit i take at him(ridiculous,i know).i was low on weapons too

Yeah, its pretty difficult as hell, you don't have typhoon, can't see health and can't use takedowns. What I did was bring a turret with me, use the laser rifle on his head. Keep running and healing with the 150 health kits. Eventually I got him and felt badass. At the start I let Zeke Sanders go then encountered him as a hostile in taggarts "room". Don't see what the consequence was. Also I let Malik die. D: Then I saw her on an operating table dead. No reference was made to her after that. I thought it was impossible to save her.

There's actually an incredibly easy way to beat him, just have him jump over a wall, run to the other side and as he's hopping over, mash the melee button and you'll punch him dead in one hit. Works on all difficulties.

Eidos did their best to make all possible endings consistent with the canon. Don't forget, there's still twenty years to go till whatever we have to check things against actually happens.

Plus make sure you watch the entire credits too for a little surprise at the end

As much as it seemed to be just passing the problem on, I chose to destroy the Panchaea facility. I would have chosen to reveal the truth, were it not for the fact that human enhancement would be forsaken as a result. Plus, doing so would allow Darrow to succeed in his madness.

Apparently, Eurogamer gave it 6/10. Check out the Deus Ex forum. The members are more critical of the series, so you might get a better view. Either that or wait for it on sale.
