Rep Power: 2 ![]() Level: EXP: | X-2 was made faster because they already had 90% of the terrain made, most of the characters, and more. All they needed was a new battle system, and a couple new designers... and new soundtrack, of course. Still, it's as good as any other FF. Games like KH and FF take more time than other games because of many things. Main points would be: 1.- Picky fans. 2.- Shit load of Programming. 3.- Shit load of the overall WOLRD. Ever wondered that they needed some time to do each building of twilight town? Each Animation of Sora in KH2? Etc etc... so yeah, 3-5 years, let's hope no more. |

| Sidekick | Say that on my forums, you'd be pounded by facts of why it was a good game by the majority of the members. So many debates regarding this game and many things people said about it I didn't notice before have made me think it was a good FF game. Although, they could've chosen a better game to make a sequel to... |

| Monkeybutt INC | X-2 had one of the best battle systems in the series, it totally shits over both X and XII. (And so begins a 10 page thread). |

| { No Life/No Death } | X-2 had an amazing battle system which pretty much kept me interested in the game besides some small events. The recent roaming free bit with new FF titles is okay, but I guess it has to go with a more minced battle system. FFXII was great, and it definitely matched up with the game itself. Looking at it logically, the game had you running great distances, bigger than the Calm Lands of FFX....now imagine the annoyance of enemy encounters also, yes. the time varies with each game. Their more famous titles will obviously take time in appeal to the fans, and upping their reputation. |

| Custom User Title | I'm so tempted to start a heated X-2 debate, but for the sake of staying on topic, I'll keep it to myself. Anyway, in all honesty, I'm glad that SE takes as long as they do. I just dislike how they take on so many projects at once. |

And back onto topic...it takes SE 2-5 years to make a game. I dont think it has taken more than 5 years for them to make one but i don't think it's taken less than 2. | |||
