Lightbulb Square-Enix licenses Gamebryo engine.
Square Enix announced that it has licensed Emergent Game Technologies' Gamebryo Engine. The engine was used in games like the Prince of Persia Triology, The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind , its successor Oblivion and Fallout 3 .

The engine will be used for a game not yet officially announced.

It looks like it will be something form the eidos team not the Square team.

So i have no idea what it could be. Nothing worthwhile probably.

A normal business process. They need to licenses these things so that the license doesn't become invalid or expire, or they could lose the patent.
