So this is Square's way of beating Final Fantasy VII's corpse a bit more to see if theres anything left.

I bet they were thinking when they released AC the first time "Hey lets delete some scenes so we can release a 'complete version' later on"

Or was this to help out with some of the massive plot-holes that Square threw into an already hole-ful story?

At least they'll put a FFXIII demo in the limited edition~ .. other than that there are only a few scenes added ( more blood^_^) and it's on Blu-ray disc

I still hope there's more since it took them so long to finally release it~

As much as FF7 is milked, I'd give them a break. I stopped to count the number of movies having a long version or Director's cut one (Lord of the Ring, Jurassic Park, etc etc), and I shouldn't start on the number of video game having a longer version (FF, KH, SO, etc etc.)

They're basically doing what a lot of movie and video game do, so while it's annoying, it's understandable.

I wont be buying it. I'll be downloading it off of youtube or someplace else and editing them together.

I'm definitely getting the BD release. Not just for the hi-def, but the extra scenes, added detail and dialogue. Plus I hear the scenarios will be changed a bit. ACs action scenes were hot on DVD but now imagine them in HD.
