Lightbulb Takashi Tokita considering original Final Fantasy DS title.
During an interview on the Square Enix Members site, Director and Executive Producer of Final Fantasy IV for the Nintendo DS said this,

I guess you havent read it correctly, the question was if they'd be thinking about creating an 'original' FF game for the DS with that engine. Meaning NOT a remake.

After seeing DQIX, I wouldn't be surprised.

However, it'll probably be something along the lines of Agito XIII. I can't see something like Final Fantasy XIV being a DS exclusive.

I doubt Agito would go to DS. If it does, they would have to downgrade the graphics loads.

Maybe the unannounced "Final Fantasy Haeresis XIII" will be a DS title.

I also think it'll be a FFXIII title, or a FFVII spin off.
After all, we don't know every FFXIII title to come yet.

I'd think more of an FFXIII title.

After all, the other ones look pretty, and after FFXIIRW, they could make a pretty XIII on the DS as well.

Thats really exciting :3, I have no clue as to what it would pertain to, but my guess is FFXIII, I mean they're gonna have a game for it for almost all the consoles (PS3, XBOX, PSP, Cell Phone) toss in DS, and you have all the gaming world, cept for Wii X_X
