Final Fantasy VII : Advent Children

So I managed to get a copy of Advent Children (U.S.) for my PSP. I thought it was an amazing movie but i didn't really get parts, cause i'm not huge into FF, i've only played Crisis Core. Anyway all the action scenes were beastly. The only downside was i was watching it in english but there mouths were movie in japanese. But it wasn't bad. And if ur listening Nomura, I give it :thumbsup: 2 thumbs up.
Anyway, people who actually saw it, post what you thought about it here.

By playing Crisis Core and then watching Advent Children, you're missing a huge part of the overall story. Play the original FFVII. That will probably fill you in on the things you were confused about.

Or you could just watch the extra features to catch you up on the whole game, if the UMD has them.

Spirits Within is better, imo. AC was still ok, though.

Second part of this post sums up my thoughts on the movie. FF VII, the actual game, wasn't even that great in my opinion.

It was blah, here's the basic premise of the movie:

• Insert dead or useless characters
• Add a crap story along with less than unimportant characters that never actually appeared in FFVII
• Resurrect Sephy just for another emorific fight with nancy boy cloud (nothing against cloud but in this movie he made actual emo kids look bad.)
• And lots and lots of action *pew pew*

All that equates to shit, a sub par attempt at a movie by SE, and to think they would have learned from Spirits Within which at this point has a better plot than Advent
