What the fudge?

Any reason why my thread has been merged with this one?

This makes no sense.

My mistake. Unfortunately, I can't unmerge it. Feel free to make another thread regarding that subject.

It's picking up now, since I've recently started playing VP1 for the PS. I find it to be very interesting (and addictive). I know there's a new one coming out on the DS, but I don't know what it's about.

^ It's about a guy hating Gods and Valkyries who gets the "help" of the Queen Hel of Nifleheim most likely an evil one) to get vengeance against them.

Finally finished this game. I got the A ending. Bloodbane was a horror to beat, I liked his voice though. I didn't expect him to be able to talk. Fenrir was waaaaay to easy to beat, probably cuz I used Infernas combined with a lvl 11 Arngrim Lol. WTF's up with Loki's hair? All of a sudden he goes from short to long hair just cuz he had the Dragon Orb, and that special attack was so cheap. At first I hated Lezard's Voice, but got used to it. It fits his facial expressions too. After the "fin" screen Brahms and Lezard started talking, I'd like to know how Lezard sacrificed the Philosopher's stone, how he fiound it in the first place, and how he was able to stay alive. I thought he was dead at first when he helped out to save Lenneth, but that was just his spirit form. Also, what's up with Brahms, he holdin Silmeria hostage or what? It seems to me like he's protecting her in a way. Plus, why was Arngrim and Lawfer in the past? I understand Hrist being there, but why those two? Even though she didn't have a huge role, Hrist is one of my faves, too bad I had to beat her up with Arngrim, Mysty, Lezard, and Brahms.

My final main game party consisted of Aelia, Lenneth, Jun, and Mystina. I'm trying to conquer the Seraphic Gate, I just got Lezard in my party, and I traded Mysty for him, traded Jun for Suo, and Aelia for Lucian. Gotta love Lucian's final Normal attack Shining Bolt, it makes Magic Gems and CT orbs fall out the wazoo. I used Suo since I liked his battle Animations.

Loki in using the Dragon Orb kind of became Lord of Destruction. It's why his hair changed, but it's also in part because, well under his final form he doesn't really look like a final boss, they had to make him look more "badass".

It's never explained how Lezard found the Philosopher's Stone, but it's implied he did because he is the greatest human mage to have ever existed on Midgar, at the point that his power can be match to those of some Gods. I don't think it'll ever be really explained. As for how he protected himself from Ragnarok with it, it's about the same way Lenneth did in using her sword : the sword being one of the Four Treasure remained after Ragnarok, but the Stone being not one of the treasure was destroyed due to releasing all its power to protect Lezard.
On a side note, Lezard's voice in Valkyrie Profile : Silmeria >>>>>>>> Lezard's voice in Valkyrie Profile : Lenneth

As for Brahms, he indeed protects Silmeria. There I cannot answer to the others question because it'd be heavy spoiler for Valkyrie Profile : Silmeria.

^ I see, how much is VP:Silmeria nowadays? I still have my raggedy old PS2, I can stop by a local Gamestop, see if they have it or not. I just found out the new VP for the DS has a trailer out, in japanese.

Lenneth's shown in it.

YouTube - Valkyrie Profile: The Accused One (DS) - Japanese Trailer

I'm definately going to get it.

^If only the creators actually cared about Hrist, then this would be a real game lol.

Gamekyo : Valkyrie Profile DS new video of the battle system

Gamekyo:Gameplay from the VP:Accursed Ones DS game, release for Japan is Oct 30th.

On the VP website, there's three videos of the battle system and a new Promo video, I wish someone could translate all that stuff.

I don't remember Valkyrie Profile : Silmeria price exactly, but I think I bought it for 50 Euro one year ago, you should get it for 30$ now, I guess.
As for Hrist, well, she gets a lot of development in Silmeria, and hum, bonus

Spoilers for Hrist's role:
She becomes a playable character for a moment, and definitely enters the team in the Seraphic Gate of that game

In all case, it is very likely there'll be a Valkyrie Profile 3, but it's also likely it'll be a Lenneth 2.
For the Accused One, I know there's some forum where they explain it. Have no link though, but the game supposedly happens either before Valkyrie Profile : Silmeria (since this game happens thousands years before Lenneth), or after valkyrie Profile : Lenneth, and relates to Brahms's fear on Hel's move.

I think it takes place after VP:Lenneth, especially since it looks like Lenneth is still the Lord of Creation, and it does relate to Brahms fear that Hel would not be silent for long. The only thing I don't like about it is they changed Hel's look. I liked her old look better in VP1, even though you only get to see it once. I seen it during the Sacred Phase when some of my people captured her or something like that.

Also, when Brahms said "that man of Midgard concerns me" I originally thought he was talking about Lezard, but now I'm starting to think Brahms is talking about Wylfred, the protagnoist of the Accursed Ones. Or he's an antagonist? Can't really be sure.
