Iagree, I haven't even got my PS3 yet (am buying it along with Sould Calibur 4) but yeah... its just a playstation thing if you know what I mean? Some people don't agree with me but I have a general perception nad that is that the 360 is for online gamers , generally FPS and the like, while the PS is more for your private gaming and I will say this. Final Fantasy is a private game, its like a novel, you sit down alone for a few hours and play without distractions. You wouldn't read one paragraph of a book at a time between talking to people.

But yeah my point is... the 360 just isn't the console for Final Fantasy (or any other none MMO rpgs if you ask me).

Wouldn't say I'd commit suicide over it but it is still not a decision I would have made if I had had a vote.

Funny that... the 360 is generally getting more games than the PS3? And I was more speaking from the standpoint of the PS2 than the next Gen consoles, so I spose I can't say much about the next gens.

I say this because noone will argue with me when I say that XBox has a considerably better online society going for it than the Playstation does, I'm not talking about the number of games being produced, I'm discussing the quality of the games, or I spose it would be better to put it "How well suited the advantages each of the consoles has to online and offline gaming". In that respect the XBox comes out on top for online gamers (I'm ignoring PCs for the moment).

In any case, fair enough you all have your opinions and as I said this is just my general perception, I'm not trying to say "The Playustation is superior to the XBox in offline and rpgs and the XBox is superior the playstation in online gaming", I'm just pointing out which one I personally prefer to use in each situation.

I agree, I would do many things for final fantasy, skip lunch, pack up my ninendo and set up my playstation... maybe even pay the $100 for the game... dying, not so much.

That aside, if you read the article I daresay it was massively taken out of proportion, to me it seems like someone said in a post "What the heck man, FFXIII is coming to the 360... I may well off myself for this [/sarcasm]"

If anyone actually read that suicide note, you could tell the guy was obviously lying as you got towards the end. It's a joke, and I'll treat it as such until pictures of the dead kid surface on the interwebs. Kids threaten internet suicide all the time, and very rarely do they follow through with it. Also, the game is coming out for the PS3, which he allegedly bought, so there's no reason he'd actually off himself because of that.
