I think Nomura did a good job directing KHII but I don't know about FFAC because I never saw it. I think the FFvsXIII game will do good when it comes out. :p

Well, the girl's design isn't plain at all. her outfit is very elaborate.

The guy's outfit is very boring though...it's just....black.

Well duh, they will be great games. But re-using the same concept, story, world, etc - regardless of whether the events happen at the same time or anything - makes it easier to produce a game, hence it sounds like an easy way of making some quick cash. Which is another reason why I wasn't as excited about FFXII. I mean, it's a new FF so I am looking forward to it, but re-using the same concept from a previous game subtracts points when it comes to originality.

Either way, like I said before, we'll have to wait and see what SE comes up with before making a fair judgement.
