I like the chocobo idea. I wonder if Sahz's chocobo will grow up during the game's timeline?

I love the hugeness of the chocobos, but I'm not sure how I feel about their...what would you call that? It kind of looks like ears.

I thought the same thing. It looks ridiculous to me. I'm not excited about the chocobo portion of this game. But oh well. Where are the moogles dang it

Also Hope gets Alexander? Stretch much?

Well it could be a male chocobo if they decide to add genders by presenting different appearances.

Each chocobo in the scan looks different, so maybe each one has a randomized appearance, or there are different "breeds". They certainly fit the environment of Pulse, looking wild and HUGE. The low-quality scan doesn't do them justice, I think, they probably look better moving in-game.

If it's just a date then I'll be a little disappointed. Maybe a date along with the announcement of an English demo. I mean, a release date is expected anyway so I don't think there should be any "special" announcement for that.

Maybe a collectors edition, something about the beta for XIV coming along with XIII, or something special. But just a release date? Meh.
