Rep Power: 2 ![]() | Chrono is probably the most sucessful series Square made besides Final Fantasy. Trigger was a bestseller, and Cross was just as good. Now that a Trigger port to the DS is going to happen, the franchise is probably going to be rebooted. In 2003 Chrono Break, a second sequal was going to be made, but later cancelled. But since the series is being rebooted, doesn't that mean, whether it is Break or not, another sequal may be official? Do you think a 3rd Chrono game shall be made? I say yes. We all know how great the two games were, so I have a feeling that a third game will be made. |

| ~Ichiban~ | If Square gets sick of milking FF, KH and DQ. I'm sure they will find away too make make a enw Chrono game.. If CT sells really great it should be a given.. |

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | They probably will. I don't really see Chrono Cross as a true sequel despite being a good game. Just as long as the Dream team makes it. ![]() |

| m e l o d y . e x e | I've been hoping for soemthing like this for a long time, and I hope S-E makes it possible...and if CT for DS is a big hit, they could also port Cross to the PSP.... |

| swathed in ever-light | The Chrono Break project was actually cancelled after the financial disaster that was Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. The team that primarily worked on this game ( who also did Chrono Cross ) was at the time working on Final Fantasy XI and it's subsequent expansion packs. The company had to refocus, and the project was abandoned. However, Square-Enix still retains the patent and trademark to the Chrono Break title to this day. In regard to making another Chrono game, Square-Enix has cited that it would be very difficult reuniting the original team from either Trigger or Cross, but they would very much like to revisit the Chrono series in the future. |
