Rep Power: 3 ![]() | Has anyone ever heard of or played Musashi for the PS2? Its about a sword-weilding teenager (big surprise) who is summoned by this princess whose country is being invaded by another and needs his help. He then embarks on a quest to save her and defeat the tyrant king of the other country. The graphics are manga-style, gameplay is reminicent of Kingdom Hearts, and the main character, Musashi, even looks alittle like Sora. (Then again, what Square character doesn't?) The only problem with this game is the voice acting. These are, without a doubt, the worst voices I've ever heard in a game, and I'm usually very accepting to any voice-acting, good or not. But this game... Musashi's voice actor sounds like a 5 year old choking on soap, I just have to mute the T.V. whenever he talks. The other voices are OK, (The Antagonist's voice is awesome) and its a pretty fun game. Anyone else wanna talk about Musashi? |

Musashi is the famous samurai (Musashi Miyamoto). Oh, and they aren't being attacked by another country, it's by some bad-ass organization led by another samurai from Musashi's world (eh, it's a spoiler, but no one cares, it's a shitty game anyway.) Speaking of this being a shitty game, this was a shitty game. The voice acting was bs (I wanted to strangle Musashi ), and the diolouge sounded like a 6 year old thought it up (Don't cop a tude!)Only voice acting I liked was the chief, mayor, father of the princess dude. "Ah, Musashi!" I got a kick outta that. The gameplay was pretty lame (although I liked the boss fights), and it was idiotic that you could only use one sword technique at a time (defeats the purpose of having defensive techniques). And those cards drove me insane >: The ending, especially, pissed me off. From the inrto, you expect some epic sword fight between Musashi and other samurai, and what's the last fight? "Triangle... oh damn, you beat the game =D" But I'll give it credit, Musashi is one badass looking charecter. ... and uh, there's a gay guy, who opens a gay bar, which amused me :3

At the start, they make you think there's going to be some epic samurai battle between Musashi and..... other dude (been too long, my mind has repressed certain details of this game). But no. The final battle only requires you to use the ****ing scan move >: But uh, at least SE was kind enough to let us fight the Wind Maiden.

| Keyblade Wielder | Im a big fan of this game, it was a follow up to the PS1 game, Brave Fencer Musashi. Features character designs by Tetsuya Nomura (kingdom Hearts, Final fantasy VII, VIII, X, XIII and so on) Its like zelda crossed with a manga and anime. The voice acting was not the best, it was decent but Musashi himself is voiced by a woman who seems to be trying to do an impression of Michaelangelo of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, on crack. Anyone else enjoy this game as much as me? My sig features a piece of the artwork by Nomura. |

| In Germany, Cats Say "Miau" | ![]() This game was the worst thing I've ever had the misfortune of seeing 1) Quote:
2) The gameplay was fairly boring and unimaginative. I was able to get past the button mashing, but the mimic technique thing could have been much better. Only being able to assign one ability, out of 20-something abilities was fail. 3) The shitty plot, most prominent being the ending. Spoilers for RAAAGE: The worst part of this game was that it looked pretty awesome before you played it.
