Different people of the Square Enix branch are making FFXIII. But still there have been more Square Enix titles coming out for other consoles in the past year than on Sony ones.

@Mon- you can't say that until the games come out. Everybody was hyping Assassin's Creed to be one of the greatest game ever, but (even though it was a great game) it didn't live up to anybody's standards.

Quality over quantity, my friend.

Suffice to say, a decent percentage of Square-Enix games tend to suck.

Yes, but that does not include the ones that have come out recently. And I wouldn't call the Final Fantasy series to be quality. In fact it is these low-budget Square games that I tend to like over the much-hyped Final Fantasy series.

That's the point. I fail to see how Square thinks the PS3 is 'failing', when they're working on a highly popular game destined to be an exclusive for said system.

Maybe because they promised Sony and signed a contract with them saying that they will keep the game exclusive to PS3?
