"What are the most emotional scenes in the Final Fantasy series?" *Spoilers.*

Not emotional as in "stabby rip stab stab" but scenes that made you choke up, or made you crack up. It can be scenes that made you outraged, scenes that you thought were sweet and made you go "Aww" or scenes that changed your view on life issues. Share the scenes you witnessed in the games that you found emotional in anyway, and why they make you feel the way you did if you wish.

For example,

In FFX where Tidus discovers tha Yuna must die in order to defeat sin made me teary eyed, because I know how it feels to have strong feelings for something and think you will be with it for a long time when you finally discover your time with them is very short, and there is nothing you can do to change it. Wakkas various verbal attacks on the al behd made me very angery because I, personaly, have encountered the same type of thing.

When Tidus [spoiler]disapears[/spoiler] was a huge one for me back when I play FFX for the first time. Now I don't think so at all, but anywho.

Definitely when Reddas dies.

In FFVIII when squall discovers rinoa is a soreceress and she goes to the sorceress memorial ='(

FFX's ending.

That's about it. . .maybe when Squall and Rinoa were finally reunited, I was happy. . .but FFX's ending really got me. *tears up*

Yeah FFX was good for emotional scenes, it's ending and when it was revealed to Tidus about the nature of Yuna's pilgrimage (greatly helped by the apprpriate music background) are both very good ones. I've got to say FFXII completely sucked for building up emotional or captivating character scenarios unfortunately... a horrible thing to say abotu a FF I know.

But some other good ones I thought were when Vivi watched the the black mages die at the hands of the Black Waltz, when Squall was going mad in the time compression, but most of all, my absolute favourite, when Squall was doing his monologue as the White SeeD took Ellone away, that entire scene with Ellone explaining things to Squall (once again helped along by an excellent musical background).

When I beat FFX for the first time I almost cried because Auron had to be sent. I was sad.

I guess the part where you're losing Rinoa in space. That was pretty sad, the idea of losing something dear. But that was just a portrayal, as FFVIII is a game, not life. xD

When Aria died in FFIII. She was so young Younger than Aerith, in fact.

Also, when Tietra was killed (I actually wasted my white mage's MP tryign to revive her) and when you must kill Doga and Unei in FFIII.

Aerith's death as well, even though I never actually cried. But it DOES move me.

The first scene that came to mind when reading this thread was in Final Fantasy IX when Zidane is throwing away all of his friends in Pandemonium. The whole game builds up character development, and then this scene is just absolutely heart wrenching for me. Especially when he snaps at Vivi :\

Since everyone's being all depressed in this thread, one of my favorite scenes is from the Golden Saucer date in Final Fantasy VII, between Cloud and Aerith x3 It makes me go awh x3 every time.

I'd love to show I'm cool and reference older game moments, but I basically just woke up and don't remember absolutely anything about them at this moment.

The Lake scene with Tidus and Yuna was really sweet and romantic. It made me go "Aww"

For some reason the scene in FFVII when cloud and arith have a flash back to their chiled hood days. Was cute to me.

i think that the fact that auron was dead all along got me i couldn't beileve when i found that out and i killed yunalesca i was like "yeah b****"

It wasn't really a scene, but one of the emails that you get in Crisis Core made me smile. . .

It was when you go to Nebelhiem and Kunsei emails you about Aeirith, saying that the wheel of her wagon broke, but she would only let you fix it, so you should hurry back.

when does that scene take place (tidus's discovery of yuna's sacrifice)? I havent played the game but id like to watch it on youtube if its a cutscene.
