awesome... i thought dragon quest ix would be bad for the ds but i guess i was wrong. i've never seen a ds game with two ds roms. O.o this is quite amazing.

Cant wait to get it, it looks like a really good game. I also just beat Dragon Quest swords and am waiting to play and beat a new Dragon Quest. I also loved Dragon Quest VIII's story with the Dragovians.

Looking for a new SE series to get into! So I will probably pick these up or rent them. But I have a quick question about the series do you have to play the other games to get the storyline?

No I don't think so. The stories in the Dragon Quest games are like Final Fantasy, they are a series but you don't have to play all of them to understand the story in one game.

Dragon Quest IX looks impressive. I'm not so sure about IV-VI though, I don't really trust Square with DS remakes after FF3.

Wow, a DS game with two cartridges, that is incredible. SE is making history! As for the other three games, I love that SE is making so many remakes of their great games. But I am going to have a problem buying so much at a time, more cleaning around the house for me!

If Dragon Quest IX is so big, that they have to put it on two cartridges, I don't really get why they don't make it into a PS3 game instead....

I have it too, but I haven't started playing it yet. It looks good though. I'm very sure I'll like it.
