You might just want to go for the lever as soon as the match starts. It's very difficult to take out Gafgarion with just Ramza, so it'd be best to let your entire party deal with him. The only problem is getting to that lever before Gafgarion does some serious damage. I'm pretty sure that if you give Ramza the move+2 ability along with some red boots (or whichever accessory gives you another move+1), you can get to the lever in one turn.

The only problem now is dealing with Gafgarion while dealing with two summoners among other tedious enemies. But as long as you're properly leveled, you should be fine.

Note: Agrias and her Holy Explosion can work wonders in this fight.

err...maybe i should level to 20 be4 fighting him, cuz i gotta get my JP's up, and yeah thnx, that im gonna do, so...what do you think is the best job for Ramza?, i only gave him the KNight..., and that's the reason he is slow...., maybe i should make him a Dragoon?,Squire(too weak though),Archer?(just joking about that)

I've always used Ramza as a Knight. Always thought it was the best fit. Usually after I use him as a Knight for awhile I'll build him up to be a ninja, and then once he's a ninja, get enough JP to learn the "two swords" ability. That way, as a knight, he'd be able to wield two swords and do double the damage.

From time to time, he makes a decent Lancer (Dragoon) as well.

In order to become a ninja, you need a level 3 archer, level 4 thief, and a level 2 geomancer. You should have all three of those jobs by now. But uh, if not:

Thief: Level 2 Archer
Geomancer: Level 3 Monk
Archer: Level 2 Squire

It takes awhile to get a ninja, but they're worth it, I think.

if at a high leval, ramza does quite well as a monk, my ramza is 30-32 and he hits 105's, and thats more than a diamonds sword, the strongest sword there is before you fight belias the gigas.

What engaged me to play Tactics was the gameplay. It was very deep, but once you're strong and learned most of the skills, the gameplay requires very little strategy. It's still fun though. What moved me most was the story; how Delita was considered a hero in history and Ramza being in the shadows of history.

I'm half way through chapter 2(I believe), and my highest leveled person(Ramza) is 18.

Am I in trouble? I made it through the battle on the bridge no problem.

Oh, yeah, I have the psp one.

The Ninja Job Class is worth it, because of their Dual Wield Support Ability and Waterwalking Movement Ability.
