Dragon Quest VIII : Journey of the Cursed King

im just wondering what ppl thought of that dragon quest game that came out awhile ago.

Never really got to play it but wanted to. But with the next gen systems i tend to want to shot people instead of rpgs maybe thats because PS3 is lacking in the good rpg department at the moment.

I wanted it but the reviews weren't any good so I didn't buy it. I want a Dragon Quest game on PS3, a game like Dragon Quest VIII: Journey Of The Cursed King.

Edit: You mean Dragon Quest Swords right? The Dragon Quest for the Wii?
If you mean Dragon Quest VIII: Journey Of The Cursed King, I loved that game.

I haven't started on Dragovian Trials yet. I'm waiting for the will to play that game again. I've played it so much.

I'm on maella abbey and i can't find anybody who knows anything about angelo ,marcello or anyone

what should i do??

Well, first off I went to the back of Maella Abbey, or as far as I went.

One of the guards should deny you entry then Marcello should lean out of a window.

Once thats happened, go to Simpleton's tavern and find Angelo there.

I take it thats the point your at?

I love this game. It is one of the few ps2 era games that actually takes a hell of a long time to complete. I'm looking at you God of War... Though God of War is great too...

i have this game. i just don't like how it takes a long time to level up... it's really irritating.

Yeah, they should've put in an item which gives more EXP or something. I have Elevating Shoes though, but it's not much.

Yeah I'm with you there, I couldn't really get into it, you had to spend too much time fighting common enemies and not enough time advancing the storyline.

It's hard to level in this game. On top of that, I'm stuck at the Casino part.

Own it and I love it. Its my favorite Dragon Quest game. Its a long ass game. The difficulty really kicks in later in the game to the point where its "wtf."

I haven't played it in a while so don't ask me for help. J/k I'll try to see if I can remember some stuff.
Oh and yes I did beat the Dragovian Trials. I hate that place.
