To beat Rosso, I just kept running in circles and shooting at her. The problem is she always throws those stupid spinny things. Using dodge at the right time helps though, timing must be perfect. Also try to keep a distance from her always. And remember where certain items are.

I finished the game yesterday!! It took me less than a day to beat!! I LOVED it, but it was kinda short...Rosso, in my mind, was the hardest boss. I died like, 6 times before I beat her. Everyone else I beat in one shot, and that was my first shooting game (you know, I think shooting games are a guilty pleasure for me LOL). I hope they make more games where Vincent appears. hes my new favorite (take that, Cloud!!)

my question is, arent there supposed to be extras in the game? I heard that throughout the game, if you collect/shoot specific targets, you can unlock unseen memory files. I know you get extra missions, but ick. Id rather see the memory files, if they exist.

And whats the connectino between deepground and Genesis? Didnt he die in FFVII CC? I havent played it yet so I dont know but...what the hell?

There are little memory capsule things hidden throughout the stages. You unlock cutscenes by finding and shooting them. Another extra is the G report which you can collect, it kinda starts up Crisis Core story. Then there are in-game missions that you activate just by going to a specific area. Those capsules that you shoot are also found in the extra missions, so if you want to unlock the other extras like art/character viewer, you have to do those missions and find these memory capsules. Oh, and you should have now unlock EX-Hard mode for the story. I didnt get past the Missile Breaker mission so I dont know exactly how much extras exist.

I agree about Rosso being the most difficult boss but she was also the most fun. If you really want to know the Crisis Core ending...

Spoiler for Crisis Core.
Genesis does not die. He is captured by 2 Soldiers from a different department.
It seems to be Weiss and Nero.
And btw, Cloud rules

cloud is cool. cloud is pretty. cloud is powerful. but I like vincent more (I personally believe he had a harder life than cloud did and he aint moping around!! LOL)

ok so what does that mean (about genesis)? are we gonna see ANOTHER sequel game?

and I played normal mode and i managed to shoot...probably six or seven of those capsule things. What are some of the extra cutscenes, do you know? And is the G report something in the hard mode or in the extra missions?

I can guarentee you'd change your mind when you play Crisis Core.

I'm not exactly sure what happened to Genesis. By going onto that subject, you're asking for alot of CC spoilers.

I suggest you play the game first but...Crisis Core spoiler:
Genesis was never a bad person, he was trying to save his life. In the end, he was healed,
and he did not hold a grudge against the world anymore.
So yeah, no idea what is going on. I heard somewhere that Genesis was used to give the Tsviets their powers, and for some reason they were named after different colors in different languages. I'm pretty sure Lezard Valeth (forum member) is filled in on the details. You could also check out some of the pages on the Crisis Core thread.

Im getting the whole PSP/Crisis Core system for my birthday in another month, so I will most definitely be playing crisis core. And I hope to learn more about Cloud. I could see how Genesis could donate powers; damn it Im just gonna have to learn more about him, cause Ive got too many questions!!

But if he appears at the secrect ending of DC, does that mean maybe well see him again? Or was that a scene that took place before the events of DC? maybe FFVII wont be remade for the PS3, but maybe well see a whole new FFVII chapter?! Has this idea been validated in any way (has Noumera said anything to hint to this)??!!
