Default Final Fantasy IV Advance

aka a remake of one of the greatest ****ing RPG's of all time.

So, I've been going through the game a little bit (only at Sealed Cavern crap; trapdoors need to stop appearing, mayne) and I enjoy it more than the original. Why? Because the game looks nice, has a great story (although people are way too wont to 'give up their life' for the greater good) and the sound is sexy. That being said, I have a few gripes.

1- Save points shouldn't be so few and far between. Quicksave doesn't cut it, unfortunately.
2- Cecil looks really effeminate when he becomes a paladin.
3- Kain is obviously the greatest character ever, and we should see more of him.
4- I miss Tellah >:

Anyway, I suppose I should get to the point, which is: what do you guys think of this game? And by that I mean 'hey, do u nigs agree tat 'Cane' shuld b the main charactur'?

How does it not look fun?

Updated graphics, tweaked gameplay, extras=worth it.

Well, for one the game was a port of the original SNES game, not a remake =\ and also, I'm not sure why you would like it more than the original to any large extent, as the game is basically the same as the original, save for some dialogue retranslation and 2 new dungeons.

But meh, whatever floats your boat. I'm waiting for FFIV's July 22nd release on the DS

A Legend is Reborn: FINAL FANTASY IV Comes to Life in Full 3D if you don't believe TMM's link =/

I don't have a DS and I'm trying to finish Tactics, FFI and FFVI so IV will have to wait for me but I do really want to play it.

From the old school 2d final fantasy's I think I like IV the most...togheter with VI. Never finished them both though...I was so stupid to rush it with the story. So with VI I was like 10 levels to low in the last stage(kefka's airship), so the lowest monster even killed me and I couldn't return. Same with IV I walked into Bahamut's cave, and got all the way to the end, just to find out that Bahamut wasn't there yet and I didn't have enough supplies to make it back... xD

But anyway, I have all of them on the GBA already, but I'll probably buy it for DS as well. If its in 3D I won't even hesitate. =P

Considering the fact that it has new graphics, tweaks to the soundtrack, a new dungeon, and tweaks to the gameplay, it might as well be a remake.

So, I just made it to the moon. Kain was a dumb shit and gave Golbez the crystal. )=

So I had FuSoYa for like, twenty minutes. I was about to go do some Bahamut'ing, but they made me do the Giant of Babel crap.

Anyway, I'm going to go level up as much as possible and get ultimate weapons before doing the final boss. Party's only like level 32-35.

^I'm at the same part, but I'm even weaker.

Which sucks.

It actually makes the game tough.

Cecil is, like, Lvl. 25 on my game. So, yeah, I am way, way underpowered.

But, FFIV is my personal favorite FF of all time. With VI next. And then X.
