It's prejudice to base your opinions on characters soley because of their looks. And as a second interpretation, insecure to hate/bash the look of a 'pretty' man - and wail about it - because you have mixed feelings. I think the hypocrisy was there for fancy, but it should fit somewhere in the spirit of my comment.

i'll give him this, he's not as bad as larsa. he definitely was more ambiguous, in appearance and in voice, but larsa proved his worth to me in the final parts of the game.

Larsa proved his worth in the first 1hr you get him, come on own'd in battle and he sweeps Penelo away for who knows how long. The kid ownz, ambiguous or not.

Every notice how none of them change their outfits even in the frickin' snow and desert? In real life Vaan and like 90% of Dalmascas inhabitants would have melanoma or some type of skin cancer because their idiots. Also Balthier is stubborn and never changes his attire...ever no matter what, but thats the developers fault really.
