You have to select it 64 times before Ruby yells at Zidane.

"Zidane! I reckon you're more stubborn than a grumpy mule!"
I'm guilty of doing this without knowing about the Easter Egg during one of my playthroughs. I kept picking Brahne as much as I could XD

lol

Remember when you're in Alexandra Castle and have to find and save Garnet before Brahne arrives and beheads her in 30 minutes? Well, if ya go to the library, you'll find some sort of optional "book" boss. I fought it once a long time ago but I didn't know how to beat it and I wasted too much time, so this time around I skipped it. Anyone tried beating the book optional boss? lol I'm NEVER trying that again. The only "optional" bosses for me are Hades and Ozma plz! There you can at least take all the time you need xD.

I'm at the end of this game, but I'm tired of levelling. Zidane is Level 56 and the others are almost Level 50.
It's a great game, I've had a lot of fun playing it. Pity it's underappreciated, it doesn't deserve that. The OST is great! It's one of the most Final Fantasy OST's I've listened to the most.

I only managed to fight him during the 3rd disc where there wasn't a time limit and when I got my character levels alot higher. Even still though it took me about 10 or so minutes since he would never show his face whenever I did enough damage.

The tantarian was a pain in the arse!
I had to use lucky 7 twice and then use freya to finish him off because i didn't want them to get all those stat drops so freya absorbed all of the exp and only got 2 points less of magic off of her max

I mainly just used Amarant to use Spare Change since at that point in the game I had a ton of gil so throwing a bit of it away really didn't make much difference, but you do have to be very patient with that particular battle.

Hehehe

Has anyone noticed? When fighting an enemy capable of freezing you. If the enemy attack you when frozen (which is instant KO), you'll get the message
"Impact crushes the enemy!" when it was the ally being crushed...lol....odd blunder.

I only time where I lost to that tree was during my very first time playing where I wasn't really that strong at that point and I didn't realize until I looked online that you could just use a phoenix down on it and the battle is over.

Your f*cking kidding me right? I trained for 2 months trying to beat that thing and finally did it after 3 tries and your telling me like now that all I had to do was use a phoenix down which I had many in supply? AAAAAHHH!!!!

I think I just might go break something now, that tree was one of the reasons why I almost stopped playing FF all together.

My favorite game moment would probably have to be the journey towards Linblum and doing the Festival of the Hunt side mission, I won that for the most part if I timed what areas I would go to after my default one.

*Edit* Lol yeah turns out that tree is actually a undead type.

^ You mean Soulcage? He don't look undead, but he is, lol...I kill him using an (read) Elixir every time...Undead bosses are fun like that X3

I remember back in the day (I bought VII, VIII and IX during Middle school) I had a bud over and she named Steiner "Crunch" because
After naming Steiner, Brahne says, "Captain (whatever you named him)"
so thus, she said, "Captain Crunch!"
Yeah...we were younger and thought it was funny XD The name didn't stick though -.-

I ended up naming Steiner Laguna for my very first play through for some reason since at the time I thought that it best suited him.

Yeah Kawaii unfortunately all you needed to do was use a phoenix down and on another boss
i forgot his name
lifa tree is easy though even without phoenix down
