Yes but we don't have Sakaguchi on our side and when it comes to VA's America doesn't always get it right. IX is not an FF just you can just half ass and expect it to be ok since the characters are so different, so far (IMO) only the voice overs for XII and Tactics have been good but that's because those games were more European and Middle Eastern and not Medieval fantasy like IX.

For God sakes S-E let damn Naruto voice Zidane, what the hell does that leave for us. D: I'm scared very very scared.

Is Dissida confirmed for an english release?
No but the name is trademarked in NA and usually that means it will come out.

I second that. Big time.

True, which means that if Sakaguchi and/or the rest of the original development team didn't come on board it should not be attempted at all. And I agree with that. However, we will see what SE does if anything upon the 10th Anniversary of Final Fantasy IX's release.

I doubt they would do anything besides so kind of port, I mean hell FF's from I-VI have been round for 10-20 years yet S-E shows more promise for FFVII getting some sort of crap remake* than the others. Not that I want a remake or that there will be a VII one but still fanboy bullshit.

I want to play IX again.

Edit: Sorry Ry.

YouTube - FINAL FANTASY DISSIDIA FIRST TRAILER

Trailer of DISSIDIA.

Zidane sounds like an f-ing girl, but Kuja at least sounds like he should. And he has the creepy laugh.

Oh, and FFIX was the first game I ever played, and my favourite game I've ever played. I still own it, and play it in the summer (downstairs of my house is really cool, so it's nice to go and own everything again).

But yeah, FFIX is my favourite FF in the series, with FFX being close behind, and a tie for third with FFVIII/FFVII.

Another good quality of FFIX was its minigames. Esp. that one at the start when Zidane and Blank are swordfighting on stage and you have to press buttons in time.

^ That was my least favorite minigame though. .___. It's more of a mandatory thing X_X I had to give up playing Final Fantasy IX for THREE MONTHS!!! before I could reattempt it because I was such a chicken *bawk bawk BAWK*! Or should I say Chicobo? lol

I heard that if you abuse the moogle flute too much, it will break. Is this true?

I also thought Final Fantasy IX was a good game based on what i know, since I've never played it, but I've seen people play it and i know the story, so its good based on that.Btw I think Zidane looks awesome in the new upcoming Dissidia game.

I heard as well that you can trigger a very early Ruby appearance if, when Baku (or w/e) provides ya with two options (the Garnet one required to advance), you pick the Brahne one ~80 times. Has anyone tried that? lol

I posted that I did in the Easter Egg thread. :3

You have to select it 64 times before Ruby yells at Zidane.

"Zidane! I reckon you're more stubborn than a grumpy mule!"

I love VII but it doesnt come close to VIII or IX
IX is my fav PS1 game! It's so fun to play and it has such a great story.
Everything is beautifully designed and the FMV's were beautiful
especially Bahamut Vs Alexander and Kuja Trancing
FFIX is not too challenging but the bosses can be a pain
( Gizamaluke) and others
there are tons of sidequests and I love the characters
unlike in FFVII they each have something unique about them
and i love the artwork
go FFIX =D
